They wait till public outcry causes the provinces to gift them cable infrastructure instead of building it themselves. Now the same ppl can just buy starlink and never have to deal with our protected oligopolies.

I phoned them up and got it down to ~$115/mo. When I said no TV just internet, the conversation changed it seems.

Hypha Central Alberta (@RuralAlbertan) reported@Martyupnorth Telus did the same to me but without any notification. Just raised my bill and expected me to pay what they wanted. **** them. Doesn’t matter who you go with, Telus Rogers or any others. They are all terrible and overpriced.
