  @jodyvance @TELUS Over here on PEI, our cell phones have terrible connectivity, some none at all. It is so bad, our provincial government funded an investigation and report. Result? We need more cell towers. Will the communication companies put up the needed towers? No. Yet they keep pestering us to buy new services. Why would we do that without the towers we need for support?

  @jodyvance @TELUS Emancipate yourself from deep (mis)management by the provider by purchasing your own @Ubiquiti Unifi gateway. Gives you easy GUI access to your network, expandable, and cheap. Then, yes, cut the cord for CableTV. Services like phone/cable etc. are better delivered “over the top”.

  @BTSypher7 @TELUS You should be able to use wifi while in airplane mode. Airplane mode just prevents connecting to the cellular network.

  I'm paying $100+ for a phone I don't want spam callers. I won't fall for it as I'm somewhat vigilant and understand that telus or any company won't take Gift Cards as payment, but i know my Grandma or someone's mom may not understand. Its 2026 fix it.
