Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PatrickDusablon Patrick Dusablon (@PatrickDusablon) reported

@CheriDiNovo @CRTCeng @JustinTrudeau Short answer: CRTC senior ranks are stacked with former Bell, Telus and Rogers executives who act like they're still working for their old corporations rather than the public service.

  • KimbaSeas Kim (@KimbaSeas) reported

@IanBuchanan14 @David_Moscrop In the meantime a deal is nice and I have my internet with Telus so I’m covered if either go down.

  • PatrickDusablon Patrick Dusablon (@PatrickDusablon) reported

@fern_60 @MrAhmednurAli And in Canada telecoms are a corporate monopoly with the govt enforcing it through the CRTC, which is stacked with former Bell/Telus/Rogers executives who act like they still work for their old employer rather than the public service. So much better, right?

  • SocMedGirlyyj Michele (hopeless DCI Vera Stanhope fan)🕵️‍♀️ (@SocMedGirlyyj) reported

Personal @RogersHelps update: I've had no network for most of morning. (Thnx Shaw & Telus wifi!) Some MMS have been holding since 0430hrs. Now one of my kidults suddenly lost sms/phone service. So while system apparently restored yesterday, certain parts are glitchy today.😕🙄

  • 1vs3 Kim Mitchell (@1vs3) reported

@inkscrblr This kind of things is one of the reasons why we gave up on Rogers several years ago. Internet with Virgin mobile, phones with Virgin, Telus and Koodo. No problems in several years. We were up and running the entire time.

  • tryoung Mind over Matter (@tryoung) reported

@lukin2006 @mgeist @rexglacer Quite a lot of people have no other choice, so switching isn't an option. And switch to whom? Bell? Telus? Bah. Canada has almost no real competition that helps drive pricing down and service quality up, and the big 3 have no incentive to outperform one another.

  • letsgetitbetter MOT - momOfthree🟥 (@letsgetitbetter) reported

@JJ_McCullough @boldbroker They would have shut the whole thing down when Covid started like they did everything else. Toronto shut down wading pools as they heard about Rogers and require a phone. They use Telus. If the gov controlled haircuts or pizzas no one could get them either.

  • Ihartcompassion Barb (@Ihartcompassion) reported

A phone call to @telus reaffirmed my choice to cancel EVERY service w/them. My security term was 2yrs (noted in my calendar) but turns out it’s 5yrs 🤔 So almost $400 to cancel and please return the equipment. 1/3

  • Bell03241976 Shane Bell (@Bell03241976) reported

@222Minutes Well if you didn't hear health Canada with the help of Telus spied on 33 million Canadians in 2020 without our knowledge or consent. There's a clue for you

  • justkenking Ken King⚡️ (@justkenking) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@TELUS I'm looking to leave my mobile provider after being with them since 2006. Not going to name any names, but about once a year they just fail me and the entire country completely. What can you offer me?
