Brent Jay (@BrentJay7) reported@GlobalCalgary I promised myself that I would never use Telus again. I have Shaw and Freedom. What do I do now? Bell? And? Who else? Canada is the land of monopolies.
-
Spencer (@spencerb14) reported@ryantouchet @TELUS Idk man Bell is pretty garbage.
-
Baked Goods (@BakedGoodsYYC) reported@dzonershow @BrettCl52830843 @parismarx I worked for Telus for 8 years. Please let me disabuse you of the notion that the CRTC are the ones dictating terms. It's almost never the case. The big 4 have been calling the shots for decades.
-
James Wooten (@rantonstupidity) reported@business Shaw never recovered from its early failure to invest in wireless, letting Telus, Bell and Rogers dominate the wireless market. Freedom Mobile was a case of too little, too late.
-
H0uman (@cloutiness) reported@BNNBloomberg This is truly bad news for Canadians! This is a cable monopoly right there. There are only 2 Internet providers in Vancouver now: evil (Rogers) and eviler (Telus)
-
D McMillan🇨🇦🏴🏳️🌈 (@tduncanmcmillan) reportedWonder if I have to keep contract with Shaw with the Rogers buyout. Never agreed to sign on with Rogers, and tbh, my new home internet service has been inconsistent at best. Telus fibre now in my community. Wonder if this will present an out in my contract?
-
Eric Edlund (@EdlundEric) reportedIf you look at the numbers Canada wide, the acquisition of Shaw Communications would increase Rogers customer base by about 18%. It would put them about 2M customers above Telus and Bell.
-
DeNo PeLLe (@hailawho) reported@kohakukuma_ That’s mobile. Telus home Internet service is outrageous also.
-
Enough already!! (@stopthecrapplz) reported@joe381 @SaveCalgary The problem with Demong is he sits and doesn't inform his constituents on information until it's an election year. The telus scandal in his ward is a prime example!
-
Beth Allan (@adolwyn) reported@justinhobson85 @Wx_Ninja I haven’t had issues with them since they let me manually choose who’s towers I used. Once I was able to use Telus towers in Alberta (especially rural Alberta), my issue with their wireless service went away.
