Nig Narain (@nigmendra) reported from London, Ontario@TELUS @TELUS: FYI: “We are working hard at reducing service levels” means you are cutting the services you provide. Also, if you’re working hard to do less, you’re doing it wrong. (Sorry to read about how @vsavoia you were treated

Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.
-
Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) reported from London, Ontario@Jayd_Ink As an YYC Shaw & Telus customer in Ontario visiting family, I’m as happy with Rogers as I am with Air Canada right now. Our flight down here was canceled twice, rebooked & then modified 3 times alone. No compensation at all. And now this from Rogers! A ridiculous service debacle!
-
Timea Janos (@Timeafit) reported from London, Ontario@TELUSsupport is London Ontario network completely down? Says no service for my entire family? We are all Telus!

Gapper Habs Fan 76 (@OriginalGoo22) reported from London, Ontario@howiethomas @KrisLipscombe @ChristyMin @chevrolet @Nike @TELUS @TSN_Sports They do but it doesn’t mean their sponsor $ is allocated to anyone other than the men’s program. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

Dylan Miles (@king_of_bob) reported@BreeNewsome I got a suspension for calling to burn down the CEO of Telus house after he bragged about his role in bringing AI data centers to Canada. You can call for the erasure of entire cultures through mass murder with 0 consequence, but say one rich guys house should be burned down...
-
Dexter Uda (@DexterUda1962) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS I've been with Rogers since they were CanTel. Never had an issue. Sure, I may pay a bit more, but my service is excellent, and so is customer service (if you know how to deal with them).

BULL OF BRITAIN (@BULLOFBRITAIN) reportedThis is probably one of the most insane SAMSUNG proxy on the market. $AMPG - AmpliTech Group > $150M market cap > Its radios are already installed in TELUS's new 5G network, side by side with Samsung > Every new style TELUS tower uses 5 radios per sector. 2 of them are AmpliTech's > Sales up 49% YoY last quarter, 48% gross margins, $18M cash, zero debt What is Open RAN? Simple: telecom giants used to buy entire networks from one vendor ($NOK, $ERIC, Huawei). Open RAN lets them mix and match equipment from multiple suppliers. TELUS is rebuilding its whole network this way by 2029. That is how a tiny New York company ended up next to Samsung on a Tier 1 carrier's towers. The math 5,000 towers x 6 AmpliTech radios = 30,000 radios 30,000 radios x $15K each = $450M opportunity Trading at 0.1x the 2029 bull case math. Even if the real price per radio is a third of that, the r/r is still extremely good. And TELUS is just the first leg: > $118M in signed letters of intent from carriers > Worked with $NVDA on the first AI-powered radio demo > Shipped space hardware to a mystery Fortune 50 building a satellite internet constellation (you can guess who) > The only US maker of a special amplifier that quantum computers need. $GOOG and $IBM have received units Sourced: @Lonsdale171255 (original article) @olyth_terminal (calculations)

Jon Fraser (@JonFraserTF) reportedToday I ended 18 years with @telus as my cell provider. Up until 6 months ago they had always been decent to deal with. Recently they had 3 major strikes against them and with my Bring-it-Back period ending this week, I decided it was time for a change. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a masterclass in Kafkaesque customer service - that will now stretch into tomorrow. If anyone is considering @telus - don't.
-
Kevin Mc Skeptic (@kmck085) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS We switched to Telus Home Services last December..EVERY month, I have to call their Customer Service because my Bill is the wrong amount..always higher than the contract states..Can't access the online bill. What a useless company..
-
Karin Kloosterman (@kazakloosterman) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Agreed. I use Public Mobile. Lacks a bit in customer service but pays back in cost savings which are huge.
-
Sammy Sayzso (@SammySayzso) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS They are horrible and committed I think fraud on me. Some in their sales dept held opened 5 new lines on my account and then when I called them out on it they said “oh sorry. I activated it for the wrong person” the sales guy was trying to make their monthly sales quota.
-
HoggHead (@HoggHead2375) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Telus is terrible. They are collapsing fast. And can’t fix it
-
Seven Eight (@787pilot) reported@PsudoMike @telus sucks anyways… these morons are asking why I cancelled my internet plan… because you don’t even offer it on the south show of Montreal you ******* idiots! Vidéotron is better anyways. What kind of telecom company doesn’t even offer a worldwide plan?!

Robert Occhiuto CPA CA (@RobertOcchiuto) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Telus went downhill. They don’t want business. Their rates are not competitive with Bell. Customer service all overseas. I stopped supporting companies that don’t hire Canadians.
