Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

    @saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

    @evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.

    @iPhoneinCanada 5g has been dead in my area for 3 months with @TELUSsupport shows 2-3 bars but get 8mb down 0.1mb up. LTE is much faster. At times 5G from Telus with 3 bars nothing loads at all. Paying this kind of money for business plan and service and covers is awful.

    Telus seems to be having ongoing trouble with its peering to Twitter or something, because twitter just blackholes for minutes at a time multiple times per day. Not sure if bug or attempt by Telus to make people go outside.

    Spoke to Marlene (not helpful) and then Vincent & Dave who finally provided the help I needed. It took 6 agents to get help. Also Telus your off shore call centres need noise cancelling technology because the cacophony of background chatter is embarrassing for a Telecom company.

    @globeandmail If Shaw/freedom feels like they can’t compete with Telus Bell and Rogers then the solution is to split up Telus Bell and Rogers as they have gotten too big for any new entry to the market to be able to offer any competition.

    @Brennan_L_D Yep, same here. Have used SN Now for years (since we get it included with service provider) and it buffers and skips, drops quality on Shaw internet and Telus, across 5 different residences across 3 different cities in Alberta. Watching hockey you can’t even see the puck
