@howiethomas @KrisLipscombe @ChristyMin @chevrolet @Nike @TELUS @TSN_Sports They do but it doesn’t mean their sponsor $ is allocated to anyone other than the men’s program. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

@TELUS @TELUS: FYI: “We are working hard at reducing service levels” means you are cutting the services you provide. Also, if you’re working hard to do less, you’re doing it wrong. (Sorry to read about how @vsavoia you were treated

@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

@D420Kato @pokelawls @RogersHelps @Bell Telus only have service on the west coast

@evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.

@Jayd_Ink As an YYC Shaw & Telus customer in Ontario visiting family, I’m as happy with Rogers as I am with Air Canada right now. Our flight down here was canceled twice, rebooked & then modified 3 times alone. No compensation at all. And now this from Rogers! A ridiculous service debacle!

@BlondeBigot11 @420BeefNutz this has been a long haul for this to be happening faster, meaning when i did work, it was always number 2 candidate on the second short listed candidates and quess what never got the job it was always the other person who was not Canadian. I will say it was CN rail, telus, and other big companies who I applied.

@GlobalCalgary what is going on with the news. I watch daily and it’s all messed up. There’s a glitch happening with the service. It’s all scrambled, not sure if it’s a Telus thing or a Global thing. I’ve had to switch to CTV a few times(which I don’t enjoy).

@DHurleu @ChibiReviews For Crunchyroll? Not at all. Telus was hacked, not Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll's mistake is the same mistake every company has made: Outsourcing to **** hole countries to save money and not disclosing what happened quickly. It's common, not unique.

In Canada🇨🇦 • Industry dominance — Groceries: Top 4-5 chains control ~72-80% market share, fueling high food prices (up 30% in 5 years, highest G7 food inflation). Telecom: Big Three (Bell/Rogers/Telus) hold 80-90% wireless market, high bills. Car insurance: Elevated rates in many provinces. • Real estate — Foreign buyer ban extended to Jan 2027, but past offshore/domestic investor activity inflated prices; housing remains unaffordable. • Private colleges — “Diploma mills” exploit international students with misleading promises, poor quality; crackdowns ongoing amid permit caps. • Tax overload — Paycheque deductions, GST/HST on buys, property taxes, embedded in utilities/fuel/bills, plus annual filings — heavy multi-level burden. Other pressures: Soaring cost of living (groceries/utilities/housing), long healthcare waits, big bank fees, productivity stagnation, wage insecurity despite data debates.

Worst marketing too from Telus. The cute little animals are old now. Main marketer for the Whitecaps and really lame promos nothing to interest fans. Everyone knows they have **** service. Phone network doesn't even work in South Surrey

@Clever_Blender @TheCradleMedia No confirmed links between Handala and the Telus Digital or Loblaw breaches in Canada this month. Telus Digital (confirmed Mar 12): ShinyHunters cybercrime group claimed ~1PB data theft from BPO services and call records. Telus is investigating, no service disruption. Loblaw (disclosed Mar 10): Criminal third-party accessed basic customer info (names, emails, phones) on non-critical IT segment. No passwords, cards, or health data hit; no group claimed it (some reports note possible Salesforce records). Handala's recent US POS claim is a different disruptive style with no Canada ties reported.

@Pirat_Nation In March 2026, Crunchyroll confirmed a major data breach involving approximately 6.8 million users following a cyberattack on a third-party support provider, Telus Digital. The breach occurred when hackers used malware to hijack a support agent's Okta single sign-on account, giving them 24 hours of access to Crunchyroll’s internal systems, including Zendesk, Slack, and Google Workspace. Stolen data primarily consists of customer support ticket records, which include full names, usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and general geographic locations. In April 2026, cybercriminals offered 2 million of these customer records for sale on a specialized forum, with a single buyer reportedly purchasing a bulk set of 1.2 million records. Security researchers have verified that 1.2 million unique email addresses from this sale are now appearing in data leak databases like Have I Been Pwned. The hackers reportedly demanded a $5 million ransom from Crunchyroll to prevent the release of 100GB of exfiltrated data, though the company has not officially confirmed paying it. Crunchyroll is currently facing class-action lawsuits alleging that the company failed to implement adequate security measures and was not transparent enough with users during the initial discovery. While Crunchyroll maintains that its core user database and full financial systems were not directly breached, the exposure of support ticket history means some users' partial payment info or private messages may be at risk.

@Tobzy47 That's the issue bro. Even if jobs come, new accounts are getting banned after 24 hours of the 1st job. I'm currently exploring Mercor and Telus.
