Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?
-
Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.

Frank (@FGluns) reported from London, Ontario@D420Kato @pokelawls @RogersHelps @Bell Telus only have service on the west coast

Gapper Habs Fan 76 (@OriginalGoo22) reported from London, Ontario@howiethomas @KrisLipscombe @ChristyMin @chevrolet @Nike @TELUS @TSN_Sports They do but it doesn’t mean their sponsor $ is allocated to anyone other than the men’s program. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

Nig Narain (@nigmendra) reported from London, Ontario@TELUS @TELUS: FYI: “We are working hard at reducing service levels” means you are cutting the services you provide. Also, if you’re working hard to do less, you’re doing it wrong. (Sorry to read about how @vsavoia you were treated

Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) reported from London, Ontario@Jayd_Ink As an YYC Shaw & Telus customer in Ontario visiting family, I’m as happy with Rogers as I am with Air Canada right now. Our flight down here was canceled twice, rebooked & then modified 3 times alone. No compensation at all. And now this from Rogers! A ridiculous service debacle!

Frank (@lastofthefranks) reportedTrying to move my Telus internet to a new apartment. Customer service quotes some absurd price. Mention I'm looking at their website and it says same service is $70/m for that location. "Thats for new customers". Telus charges more for being an existing customer?!?
-
Fares🇵🇸 (@HazemAlashsy8j) reported@rayp10213 @TELUS I apologize for the inconvenience, my friend, but my family needs your support. Please quote my pinned tweet, retweet it, and comment on it with a period if possible. Donate if you can. 🙏🙏

Peter the dim (@Peter69906073) reported@jodyvance @TELUS Telus. Told them the PVR was the problem. Several looong calls with Guatemala, Philippines, India, each with a "FIX". Stopped one problem, caused another. Finally they did what I told them needed to be done. Sent a tech with a new modem. WASTED many hours of my time.

Dtw🇨🇦 (@DerekWilliams82) reported@DailyHiveVan If Telus can take our water for a data centre then I don’t give a **** about washing my car or watering my plants/lawn. If the city and province is going to sell out our water and not give a **** then why should I.
-
BCSusan (@NorthshoreSue) reported@jodyvance @TELUS I hear ya. I have to reboot at least once a day (Telus) and it goes down at the most inconvenient times, like in the middle of zoom meetings.
-
Mark Dietz (@MarkDietzinAB) reported@jonkay I came up with an easy solution for this. Here's how it goes... Hello, Telus?... I'd like to cancel my cable?
-
Meggster 🇨🇦 (@BcMeggster) reported@VanCityVice You think our Hydro bills will be going down once Telus sucks the life out of it for an A.I. data center? They announced stupidity. We don't nee China's system at all.
-
Marqee (@Marquis86069666) reported@ryan_weal @UnkleHack69 I know, I built their networks for 30yrs. I was the head Tech. Publics another washed down VS. Telus pretending it's not a part of a monopoly. I built every technology that came along. 5G is here to control everything you own. I hate this sht now.
-
Michele (@muffins135) reported@TELUSsupport Telus should really be giving customers a credit on their bill as the customer had to install the new digital boxes. That was a service that a technician used to do. Plus, I now have to get these boxes to Canada Post. $50 credit would be great. Thanks.

Jason (@IntSpaceJason) reportedHaving stayed in several places on my trip through BC and the Telus cell coverage has been absolutely terrible everywhere... Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Chilliwack, Courtney.
