@howiethomas @KrisLipscombe @ChristyMin @chevrolet @Nike @TELUS @TSN_Sports They do but it doesn’t mean their sponsor $ is allocated to anyone other than the men’s program. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

@TELUS @TELUS: FYI: “We are working hard at reducing service levels” means you are cutting the services you provide. Also, if you’re working hard to do less, you’re doing it wrong. (Sorry to read about how @vsavoia you were treated

  • MPHickie
Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) reported from London, Ontario

@Jayd_Ink As an YYC Shaw & Telus customer in Ontario visiting family, I’m as happy with Rogers as I am with Air Canada right now. Our flight down here was canceled twice, rebooked & then modified 3 times alone. No compensation at all. And now this from Rogers! A ridiculous service debacle!

    Is TELUS service down?

  • KeeganGoerz
Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario

@evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.

  • KeeganGoerz
Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario

@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

@TELUSsupport He said no idea. Probably it is the cable which I use it to connect device and Model. I know he is wrong because I always use cable with no such issue before. Telus does not follow up.

  • PsudoMike
    PsudoMike 🇨🇦 (@PsudoMike) reported

Telus took a $2.1 billion writedown on Telus Digital this quarter, the arm it built to sell AI and customer service work to other companies. Adjusted income still dropped 26 percent once you strip that out. I've built systems like this. The story sells long before anyone checks if the product holds up. Makes me wonder how many other Canadian telcos are carrying an AI unit priced on the same promise.

@VanIsleInvestor @NuggetCapital Great call on Telus….. slow moving trainwreck.

@NickPenaAlvarez @Rogers @TELUS Don't do it! Trust me. This was a criminal act. Telus has even worse service

9/ Then start applying to legitimate platforms. Examples worth researching include: • DataAnnotation • Outlier • Appen • TELUS Digital AI Community • Scale AI ecosystem • Other verified AI evaluation/data-annotation companies But don't assume every platform accepts workers everywhere. Country, language, project demand and eligibility can change. Always check the current listing before applying. 10/ Here's something most “make money with AI” posts won't tell you: Getting accepted is NOT the same as getting consistent work. AI-training work is often project-based. Workers report differences in task availability, pay and acceptance rates across platforms and projects. So don't quit your current income source because someone showed you a $50/hour screenshot. Treat it as an opportunity until you've actually established consistent work.

@not_sforys92 I do feel like we're being gaslit about services getting better, definitely feels worse. Up at the cottage on Telus or Rogers we used to get by, now it's the worst it's ever been. New cell tower should be active at the end of the month supposedly. We got starlink now tho

@TELUSsupport @brndntlrnlsn TELUS changed my internet plan from 1.5 Gbps to 1 Gbps without my knowledge or consent. There was no notice, no explanation—nothing. If I ask them to fix it, only results is they charge me $200, no improvement after the repair.
