Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) reported from London, Ontario@Jayd_Ink As an YYC Shaw & Telus customer in Ontario visiting family, I’m as happy with Rogers as I am with Air Canada right now. Our flight down here was canceled twice, rebooked & then modified 3 times alone. No compensation at all. And now this from Rogers! A ridiculous service debacle!

Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?

Keegan Goerz (@KeeganGoerz) reported from London, Ontario@evefavretto @saschasegan @TELUS I mean fair enough I guess. SIM swap scams are getting to be a massive problem… and given how attached folks are to their phone number it would be really rough to have to get a new one.

Nig Narain (@nigmendra) reported from London, Ontario@TELUS @TELUS: FYI: “We are working hard at reducing service levels” means you are cutting the services you provide. Also, if you’re working hard to do less, you’re doing it wrong. (Sorry to read about how @vsavoia you were treated

Gapper Habs Fan 76 (@OriginalGoo22) reported from London, Ontario@howiethomas @KrisLipscombe @ChristyMin @chevrolet @Nike @TELUS @TSN_Sports They do but it doesn’t mean their sponsor $ is allocated to anyone other than the men’s program. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see it and think they deserve the coverage. I just think you have to get the sponsors to buy in that it’s worth it and for us to support it🚨🏆🇨🇦

Jv (@JBK11663) reported@MTe005 @unclehaver the enemy of my enemy is my friend. i hate nimby's too, but if we can agree that a massive water and electricity black hole that benefits nobody but the feds and telus sucks, then at least they have a few more functioning neurons than the techbros on twitter defending this ****.
-
Shredder152 (@shredder152) reportedSigh…. On hold with Telus for over a 1/2 hr - on the second call today!!! Piss-poor service - which, along with ridiculously high cost, is why I’m cancelling!!
-
Nick (@sharpie_360) reportedTelus has some ******* nerve charging the prices they do to join a network that has zero service. We desperately need some real competition for these jerkoffs
-
Nikki (@Nikki98212136) reported@PWHL_Minnesota How can we watch this in Canada? Telus and the CBC are Horrible. I got off work early and still, I can't find the game. Help?
-
hcky123 (@dundatt1989) reported@JayJanower You are saying on Matt show you have it on authority Caps lost 40 million per year ? Aside from this year player wages were 14 m so total budget at max for caps would be 40m ish. that’s poor/lazy reporting to think they lost that much ? 🍎Tv is 8m/yr Telus is 4 m/yr

hecate_strait ᔪᐊᑎ (@StraitHecate) reported@MarkJCarney Hooray for Telus building stuff but my concern here is that we're about to see another multi billion dollar pile of taxpayer money evaporate, just like with the EV battery mess. If the gov can limit itself to policy support, great. But lots of strikes so far leave me skeptical.
-
Ingenious (@GeniusITM) reported@PeterMeiszner TELUS established BPO operations via TELUS Digital, which runs customer service and support centres in Guatemala and the Philippines involving access to Canadian personal data. In March 2026 TELUS Digital was breached, exposing nearly a petabyte of sensitive records.

Jackie Seidel, PhD (@JackieSeidel1) reportedthe background. He said so many people in the call centre were sick with COVID infections. And at work. Does that sound like good working conditions respecting quality of life. Never mind nonhuman life. TELUS exists to make profit. That’s all.

jedgar (@jedgar) reportedHalf the people talking about the Telus data center in Vancouver are literally some of the dumbest people in Canada I swear to god. Why Telus? -Because who TF else is going to build it? Why downtown Vancouver? -Because that's where the ******* internet exchange is. Downtown in a city is the most retarded place for a data center!!!11!!11! -No, you're literally an idiot stfu. The data center will be loud and create loads of issues for people?? -NO, you're literally an idiot stfu. Why is Telus the only business in Canada who can build data center infrastructure? -Because they've been doing it for the past 15 years and they know how to do it. Why is there nobody else in Canada who can do it? -Because they all work at Telus. Can't Rogers do it? -No. Can't Bell do it? - LOL. Why can't some other company other than Telus do it? -Because there is literally nobody else. How can a company with no experience in data centers build data center? - They have 5 data centers already and building a data center has less to do with what is inside and more to do with the services it provides and the SLA. How can it be true that the only qualified party to take on one of the most important technology projects in the country is one of the biggest technology companies in the country? - ... How can it be true there is only one qualified party in the country? - Why would the opposite be true?

Will dePeuter (@WillageD85) reported@beauti_animals Never been the Vancouver, but as a Canadian, the Telus building was a dead give away.
