Vidéotron Issues Reports Near Burlington, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Burlington and nearby locations:

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • iWantMystique 🔞♥️Mistress Mystique 💋🇭🇹 Vancouver Sept 8-14 (@iWantMystique) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I have a Videotron’s rep stuttering over the phone and the ***** in me is enjoying flustering him so much but damn... what a collection of imcompetent fools. Wtt is their recruiting criteria

  • katasaur17 Kat Pereira (@katasaur17) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Videotron I’m in the same province, Ottawa and Toronto are both in Ontario! And I still have 0 bars/0 service. It’s been like this for over 4 hours

@Videotron Is there a problem with landline internet (wifi)? Keeps on losing the connection, and when I do a speed test it is trying to connect to a server in Oregon.. I'm in Gatineau!

  • D_Robertson41 David M. Robertson (@D_Robertson41) reported

FYI @TSN_Sports TSN 2 Masters coverage has gone dark, no signal on @Videotron all others working fine.

  • CoculuzziAngela Angela Coculuzzi 🇨🇦☘️ (@CoculuzziAngela) reported

@grantmccagg #bell is the worst. I use to spend hours on the phone every month getting my bill corrected. Couldn’t do it anymore. Switched to videotron.

  • KalSDavian kal | Nihilian Effect 📚 saga (@KalSDavian) reported

@Videotron, what does "Managing your home network settings is now easier than ever" mean, because logging into two separate websites & downloading a phone app just to port forward is the exact opposite of the ease of just logging into a router on my desktop. Wtf is this nonsense

  • asta asta (@asta) reported

@TSN_Sports would love to but your signal isn't getting through on @Videotron today. GRRRRR

  • Diegfegar05 Diego Garcia (@Diegfegar05) reported

@Videotron whats going on with your internet…its down here in Anjou, im working and need internet…

  • hfiguiere Hubert Figuière (@hfiguiere) reported

@Videotron no need to be in private. Basically the PVR didn't recognize the show anymore as being set to record. It's either: 1. the PVR is garbage anforget what it is doing. 2. the TV guide changed and whatever identifies the show (Star Trek Picard) changed. I'd think 2.

  • fastpuppy FastPuppy (@fastpuppy) reported

The only thing reliable about @Videotron is that you will have problems at least once a day.

  • DracosAlpha @dracosalpha (@DracosAlpha) reported

Seems to me that Videotron is purposely choking independent ISPs by introducing outrageous delays (5 days) before they'll even activate a modem on their infrastructure. Meanwhile, as we've seen with my daughters' service, their own setups suffer no such delays.

  • Sauto_aie Sauto (@Sauto_aie) reported

@Videotron why is your internet so ****** ****?
