  @bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  @mchkzn Videotron is garbage. Bell all the way. I get coverage in areas where nobody does and 5G speeds in Ottawa are 500 download.

  Update on the ongoing outage: power is restored, but our network provider (Videotron) still has issues with the power outage. They did not provide an ETA yet.

  Ok so this is what we have to deal with here . The big 3 -Ts we have. Thanks to our CRTC. We are F*cked why because where are you going to go . Each of those companies now’s this .   W/ wholesale we have CNOC members Distributel, Vmedia, Start, Ebox etc All owned by Bell, Rogers Videotron & Telus. What are they going to do here lock people into mobile-Internet bundles? Bundles to save 10$ off cruddy #CRTC service costs in 2yr contracts? A god send? Dunno..

  @JustNoOne3001 @yellmapper Just went to Ottawa and picked up n66 and a fuckton of B7 on telus Like, 20mhz of 7, another 20mhz of 7, 20mhz of 2, 15mhz of 66, 30mhz of n66 according to service mode. I didn't even know band 66 was that wide, nevermind having Rogers and Vidéotron also using spectrum

  @LucDupont @Videotron Same today, i've noticed this a few times recently, never happened before, i'd say since last fall. One of the few reasons i keep cable. They better fix the problem or i'll subscribe online and cut this cable....finally !

  Freedom wasn't great for cell phones (lots of complaints online) but since Videotron bought them I expect things to be much better. We switched on phone to Freedom and so far, other than a bumpy setup(*), it's been great. *They put the wrong # in one of the account fields so RCS wouldn't work, couldn't explain how and couldn't fix it until we went two service tiers up. Also twice claimed they sent emails which somehow never arrived.
