    @bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

    @nspector4 In specific regions one telco wld likely dominate (eg Videotron in Quebec?) Leaving regions almost as vulnerable. Is the problem really that the GTA went down? Would it have been a nation issue if it was Calgary? So maybe we just need insurance for the Toronto users...

    Anybody downtown (Outremont, Plateau) have Videotron home internet? Sister is reporting an outage and they claim its in the whole area.

    Ah, once I manually switched the network to a new one (I chose Videotron), issue is resolved. Wild that Rogers is STILL having trouble!

    @MobileSyrup NO! @Videotron needs to go outside of Quebec to help make a big 4 possible and bring competition. Quebec today has better prices than all of Canada.

    @Videotron outage since 16h08. 4 hours later and still no internet. Maybe another Rogers incident?
