@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

@Milnoc @joshnet @Videotron It cut out because the Chinese government guy listening in on you pressed « pause » because he had to go pee :-) have you tried disabling the useless 5G thing and sticking to LTE?

Without these laws, Microsoft, Bell, Videotron, etc would need to outsource support/programming to overseas countries, but instead, they can just pay garbage wages to Quebecois who can't escape and speak passable English.

@Videotron 3 days of intermittent internet service. Tech support claims it's planned maintenance and modernization. Would have been nice to have some advanced notice since I work from home and rely on a constant internet connection. Might have to switch to a different provider.

@lesleychestrman @Bell_Support All my services are with Videotron. Never a problem, either calling customer support or getting a service call.

@Videotron my Helix internet and home phone have been down for about 5 hours. I just tried calling the 24 hour / 7 days a week technical support (according to the user centre app) and it tells me that customer service is closed.
