@Videotron Yeah but no one is answering in both chat and call. So Im out of options here. It’s been an hour… maybe pass the info along now that you see multiple users have internet issues.

@pluc @cogeco @Videotron In other markets where there's "competition" there is still only one physical grid, though, and one grid operator/maintainer. I have no idea how it works for cable network infrastructure though.

2am thunderstrike overhead fried my Google wifi, Videotron cable modem, a network switch and possibly my ethernet card on my main PC. Very glad I kept a backup router so I can at least get internal services (Plex) back up.

@Videotron is there an issue with helix? My helix router is blinking orange. Can't watch anything. I tried unplugging and plugging the helix router but still just keeps blinking orange

@Videotron should update their DNS it's been almost 24 hours since I switched records on a site and customer of theirs still can't access it. Pretty bad service if you ask me.

@Videotron what ******** is this anti-consumer behavior? Turning off 2.4GHz broadcasting on your **** show app also turns off the 5.0GHz band. AND STOP OVERRIDING MY LOCAL CONFIGS - the only place the config actually works

@DrSamTheDentist @reideltj @Videotron But the issue is publicly known to have happened before the storm though! Ya sidebar, I'm pretty amazed for such a carrier, it still hasn't implemented support for eSIM yet!
