    @Bell_Support AGAIN!! Bell has been down repeatedly in December alone. Down two weekends ago Down last weekend Down again Monday @videotron how's your service been lately?

    Update on the ongoing outage: power is restored, but our network provider (Videotron) still has issues with the power outage. They did not provide an ETA yet.

    @Bell_Support hey bell we live in hull and this is the 3rd service interruption in 3 weeks. We pay 275$ a month for internet, cell, tv with bell we are now going to switch over to videotron worse internet but atleast they dont have vandalism issues every week

    Cllr Ainslie asks why not emulate the model in Montreal? In 2013, Bell, Rogers, Telus and Quebec-based Videotron invested equally in a $50-million project to bring cell service to Montreal’s Metro.

    Still no #CRTC outage reports from: -Videotron -Rogers -Wholesale/resale (Storm Internet aside) -Freedom mobile (which also couldn't provide french service during the outage).

    @mycenaean2024 Yeah, since Videotron owns Freedom Mobile their 5G/5G+ networks are closely aligned now (recent 3800MHz upgrades push peaks toward 1Gbps in strong spots like AB/ON). Real-world averages often 100-500Mbps depending on location/signal. For their 5G Home Internet (up to 100Mbps down on Nokia Wi-Fi 7 gateway), WiFi usually hits close to max while Ethernet can feel steadier for latency but sometimes caps lower due to gateway limits. What's your actual test results?

    There are still no #CRTC outage reports from the ice storm that knocked comm's out for: -Videotron -Rogers -Freedom (which also negated French service during the outage) -Flanker brands -Resellers/wholesalers (Storm Internet aside)
