@drewface_ Lol what?? What's your ISP? I think I've been using the Google DNS since Videotron had a huge DNS issue that prevented most of Montreal and adjacent cities from accessing the internet for like... a day and a half. Google DNS is just much more reliable.

@christophemikos That would be a win win for Justin ---- Nationalize the cell network award Videotron with a national Canada Broadband service contract ... Gotta sponge up those Bombardier jobs

  • grimmertown Jason Grimmer (@grimmertown) reported

once again, on the phone with @videotron spending an entire morning trying to access accounts to pay a bill they sent to collections that I a) had no idea about and b) can't pay because I can't access a second account they never told me about. The worst, honestly.

  • jfmezei Jean-François Mezei (@jfmezei) reported

One possibility is for the #CRTC to issue a “yes to MVNO” decision that is limited only to spectrum holders to allow them to operate outside their territory. (so Ice Wireless/ Eastlink/Videotron expanding to BC/Alta/Toronto.

  • coronav99604397 coronavirus (@coronav99604397) reported

@Videotron third world service got a third world province

  • journeydan Daniel Bader (@journeydan) reported

If I'm reading it correctly, Videotron or Eastlink could negotiate appealing wholesale rates with the Big Three and sell access to that service to an MVNO, who would be allowed to build a direct-to-consumer business using that access.
