@Videotron i know, imnt regarded. im saying this cause unlike me, you got a voice at the crtc and the means to target the relevant audience with those alerts. if it doesnt serve a purpose to wake ur customers up who cant intervene, maybe you should do something to fix that.

@TechTalk2k If the merger is turned down, Shaw will have to invest in 5G and compete. Videotron cannot compete ever as they have no infrastructure outside of Quebec and cannot bundle and worse cannot afford a competitive strike against their cable business in Quebec.

@louispavlakos I’ve had so many issues with videotron lately, it’s insane. Feels like every couple of weeks there’s something wrong with the wifi

@alexposadzki @globeandmail We all know Shaw has lied in the past and we all know how greedy and manipulative Rogers is. Videotron would relay heavily on Rogers for network support so Rogers would benefit by this also. Freedom has been left as sitting ducks when it comes to being competitive we see they are

It’s quite possible that if the merger is blocked, Freedom just languishes as a second tier mobile network or just eventually folds or gets sold to Videotron anyways. The indication from Shaw on why they pursued a merger was because the status quo wasn’t working.
