@thevivafrei @theJagmeetSingh @PierrePoilievre Fido belongs to Rogers, and Telus has Koodo. Then there's Bell. Videotron for all intents and purposes is pretty local. All other discount carriers pay to use the Big 3's networks. If their networks go down, so do the little guys, including Virgin.

@Videotron why is our internet so slow, sometimes not even working during afternoon and evening these past few weeks even though the cables/wires have been changed by your technician last month already.

@Videotron Already chatted with tech support and my wife called the same yesterday, same story: our engineers are aware of the problem and are working on it. No ETA for resolution…

@Videotron Talked to a support agent at 8:55pm, "Should be half an hour or so.", well it's 10:04pm, no messages, no tech. My kids are in bed, don't need someone stomping around. Why do I need to call/follow-up? Why am I not being informed? This a full day without phone or internet.

@Bell I am currently locked out of my own network, over a 3g connection, Bell does not operate on. Trying to log the Videotron user center. It is looping. Trying to download the helix app, nothing is going on. #polqc

"A technician will be with you within minutes or hours." Such a helpful addendum to the "Will arrive between 7:30am and 8:30pm" initial timeframe, @Videotron! Yes, I know things are busy and unpredictable, but better messaging would help.

@FP_Champagne Is there a policy and technical way to ensure that canadians could switch to another provider (say videotron, bell, telus or shaw) if a provider (say rogers) goes down on an emergency basis, at the expense of of the downed provider (example rogers)?
