@UweTeufel @invigilator4 I have 1 bar on my cell phone for service on the farm, 2 at the barn. Internet was with Xplornet until lighting hit my dish and blew up my computer.

It just seems unsafe, I have heard of three out of three instances of Xplornet climbing an antenna, a tall roof and giant wall and they never wore a harness or had a safety partner. I am not asking for more charges, I am asking for fairness for telecom workers. @WSIB

@Xplornet The service is at my mom's house in St Joseph's, SMB, Newfoundland and Labrador. My brother gets the bill. I don't have the account info. All my mom would like to know is when it'll be restored to this area. Almost 94 hrs now. 4 days

@Xplornet If Rogers or any of the others go down, satellite internet does not. If you have it, consider keeping it as a back-up. Call customer service.

@JayIsPainting @Shawhelp I had Xplornet for 2 years and always had issues… so I broke down and got Starlink for my rural home. It’s $20 more but I couldn’t be happier with it.

@IanMcPHE7T2 @mynamesnotgordy @Xplornet I live on PEI in the country. Ours works good no complaints. Only had to call them 2x in 5 years. Both times the service was great and it was fix next day. Not every one here gets good internet from them depends on where they live. Bell service here is atrocious.

@adampete78 Well, we were restored (finally). Rogers (when it works) = 25 Mbp Xplornet (when it worked) < 1 Mbp As bad as the last couple of days were, not going back.
