Had Xplornet (garbage), then Rogers Rocket hub (great speed but expensive), then Netago local company out of Hanna (was overall good, company sold to Telus and I hate Telus)

Indubitably Tho (@IndubitablyTho) reported@preta_6 With Starlink, while not as fast as Telus fibre (right now), you can look forward to incremental upgrades in speed, and equipment, over time. I suggested to a client suffering with only the choice of Xplornet (crap speed + outages) switch to Starlink back in 2020. Installation couldn't have been easier and reliability of his Internet connection immediately stabilized. Everything has got better since, including being sent the latest hardware for free. Starlink's plans for continuously upgrading their satellite constellation were the deal maker for me - and should be for others suffering under Xplornet.

AtomicHydra (@atomic_hydra) reported@xplore_ca @Victoriab1107 IM watching my signal go from 16-17 -15 SINR AND THIS IS ACCEPTABLE what..... my internet stutters and lags when it hits that low. Hands down worst service.

Dan Wiebe (@DanWiebeFree) reported@xplore_ca Don’t believe a word of Xplorenet . I know this from personal experience and my friends and acquaintances share my experience. The speeds and data are far lower than they “sell” their service is crap. Starlink work’s terrific.

Arpad Hild (@zotfot) reported@Penny36274714 @reaIDonaIdTru_ Well I had xplornet and was paying $140 for 300 GB but I switched to landline internet with telus and now I pay $70 a month with a home phone and get unlimited data and much better service now too

G. Louise (@Shuswapgigi) reported@MrStache9 We have Starlink and we like it. We live rural so our options were limited and what we had was very poor in both cost and effectiveness. Starlink was super easy to set up and works reliably well. It costs us $156 a month which is more that xplornet but I wouldn't go back!

For anyone working from home that’s useless. When will we have access to good reliable reasonably priced high speed internet service?
