Xplore Issues Reports Near Altona, Manitoba

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Altona and nearby locations:

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder 🏴‍☠️🦆 (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@MBAgDays @Xplornet Best day of my life wasn’t my wedding or either of my two sons being born, but it was when I cancelled my Xplornet internet connection in favor of a different ISP. Frankly if I was in charge I’d respect ag days more for shutting down in favor of accepting money from Xplornet.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

    @NH3_Guy @traviswillerton @BaldurBarons @Xplornet Won’t hear me anymore. Canceled that shit today.

  • jcalder1983 Farmerjeoff (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

Hey @Xplornet Yes, the check I mailed you must not be there yet. Yes I got your ******* email from “collections” for a bill I got 10 days ago and yes I ignored your phone call. I paid the bill with a check and credit card to shut you up. Also your service sucks. 25 Mbps my ass

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

The replies to this are amazing. Xplornet is the worst isp ever.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@DtotheIzzoAcres @Xplornet @NetSetMB I’m always livid. And last time I complained their internet person got snarky with me via DM. Apparently I’m wrong for expecting the service I pay for. Shame to see NetSet go down that path. They were so good. Waiting for fiber this summer.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@Xplornet @XplornetES You guys suck. Service isn’t even 2G level.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Altona, Manitoba

@DtotheIzzoAcres @Xplornet I cancelled my service with xplornet 2 days after they took full control of NetSet. I’d rather not have internet than give them money.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@Plantmore1 @perrin_05 @Shortnyk Yeah, isp shouldn’t make any difference on WiFi signal. Xplornet sucks. Never had so much trouble with an isp than we have had with them. Glad I don’t have it anymore.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@TheHellcey @Xplornet @NetSetMB I remember you didn’t like having problems with your stream.

  • jcalder1983 Farmerjeoff (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@SassyFarmWife_ @Xplornet Mine has acted up since the minute xplornet bought NetSet. Xplornet sucks.

  • jcalder1983 Jeff Calder (@jcalder1983) reported from Montcalm, Manitoba

@KevSab12 @landon707 @BaldurBarons @NH3_Guy @neiljakubowski @bigbushelsag @T_Bartman @Xplornet @GetVisp That’s not a fiber network. Morenet is wireless. Fiber doesn’t fix everything, if the ISP doesn’t have enough bandwidth nothing will fix that. Advantage of fiber is it can carry so much, but it has its limits.

Xplore Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jfmezei Jean-François Mezei (@jfmezei) reported

On the Rogers wedding issue: I would hope that @CompBureau releases the letter it sent to Rogers. Important to know if they wish to oppose the transaction as original filed, or oppose a transaction that includes sale of Freedom to Xplornet.

  • peckcc peckcc (@peckcc) reported

@SpaceXStarlink How about some better tech support, Toll-Free support! I was installing a system yesterday, and it failed. Cx and I can not find a way to get replacement parts or system! only a refund! #StupidStarlink. I had to go back to Fixed Satellite Thanks to @Xplornet

  • 87743gamberr 87743gamberr (@87743gamberr) reported

@spacexstarlink AND @elonmusk Starlink support truly sucks. No accessible ticketing system. No responses from email support. Over 1K paid(over months) and 2 days use before breakdown. Have to fallback to @Xplornet which is more reliable. Please get better support system.

  • Mr_Jizac MrJizac (@Mr_Jizac) reported

@Xplornet you really over sell your fixed internet service. It’s literally useless. It’s up and down so much I can’t even keep track. My house is 2km away from the tower location, the service should be simple. Why are you stating the availability when it’s not?

  • TheTechnicianhd Bars Stallone (@TheTechnicianhd) reported

@Xplornet This is the worst service out there. Best case scenario take there internet speed you pay for and divide it by 10. That’s what you will get. Example 50 mbps you will actually get 5 mbps.

  • USmarketsucks Millennial, But Boomer (@USmarketsucks) reported

@Xplornet @WhistleOut_CA Seriously, xplornet is awful. And their sales staff are full of sht. They will 100% lie to you.

  • patgjanes Patrick Janes (@patgjanes) reported

@kristinaennis If not in range of mobile phone service, satellite is your only option. Xplornet & Starlink are expensive - both equipment & subscription fees. Both require technical skills to set up, and you'll also need a stable power source. Neither is cost-effective to set up for a few days.

  • patgjanes Patrick Janes (@patgjanes) reported

@kristinaennis Satellite internet may be your only option - Xplornet or Starlink. Xplornet also has less expensive/faster wireless internet service - available in a lot of semi-remote areas. For that you need to be within range of their systems which are located on mobile phone towers.

  • MattBerlett Matthew Berlett (@MattBerlett) reported

@justushickey @Xplornet I was able to cancel mine with no issues

  • Marmieowner Dogluvr (@Marmieowner) reported

@Xplornet @WhistleOut_CA But it doesn't work most of the time.
