Sadly we have a very bad , but expensive internet connection through Xplornet , so can’t work from home . Not only slow but unreliable; room for improvement; but as long as the government let only two businesses ( Rogers,Bell ) harvest the money , nothing will change .

@PattiBailey05 @Xplornet @TELUSsupport Fascinating that we can send a space craft to Mars and control it from millions of km’s away, yet we can’t provide reliable fast internet to rural Canadians.... Xplornet is going to find themselves in trouble should another provider step up....

@Xplornet For anyone thinking about becoming a customer...These guys relplied to my CCTS complaint about lack of speed indicating that THEY KNOW that they CAN'T PROVIDE what they are charging me for because of a KNOWN ISSUE WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT This is IN WRITING. I can share the letter.

All these "we're building rural internet" posts are funny because they should have started 5 years ago to keep at least some pace with urban options. Instead, they gave money to Xplornet and they just bought up their competitors and turned them to ****.

@Xplornet I’d warn anyone of contemplating buying from @xplornet that if you find their quality not matching their promises - don’t expect a refund, expect a cancellation fee. It’s brutal. Not even easy to cancel.

@Xplornet No it hasn't. Outage has existed since the day you bought out the competition, and continues still.

@BaldurBarons As soon as I can ditch xplornet I am. It’s better than it used to be but still slow and non existent at times.

@Xplornet This is increadably disappointing, really thought it was going to be a better company doing this project you know one that actually gives a fudge about their customers. Also once again I'm in the little corner of Norfolk county that doesn't get this service.
