Sadly we have a very bad , but expensive internet connection through Xplornet , so can’t work from home . Not only slow but unreliable; room for improvement; but as long as the government let only two businesses ( Rogers,Bell ) harvest the money , nothing will change .

@AgDebraM Yes! It’s been great. I had to spend thousands in radio satellites just to get an xplornet signal to my yard. The start up for starlink was peanuts.

  • chefdills Dylan Brushett (@chefdills) reported

@dchipp @Xplornet @AltimaTel Should be up and running my morning. Just off the phone they said they were waiting on parts. Call in again because I got 2 weeks free service on top of the discount I already had gotten. The proper way to pay for this internet is not paying for it. Make the company suffer

  • mcmakspub Lee (@mcmakspub) reported

@Xplornet @AnnapolisCo Careful to Nova Scotia customers Xplornet bought a reliable internet provider in Alberta and have no technicians to service customers we have been without internet for over two weeks with no line of sight to a repair date.

  • 1blackpup Jasmine (@1blackpup) reported

@AnnieClaireBO my service provider (xplornet) still is not participating in the 10$/month connecting families initiative introduced in 2017

  • XmedicNow Doug~E~Fresh (@XmedicNow) reported

@LukeCharbonneau @NewsBayshore @CountyofBruce exciting if you have never had to deal with customer service from Xplornet. Atrocious service.

  • stockyrds Stockyrds (@stockyrds) reported

@Mark_Goldberg @Xplornet @FT_Networks If they do what they did to cci costumers itll be a **** show

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

@chefdills Imagine being in 2022, running a highly overpriced ISP, and still being too cheap/incompetent to have redundant hardware in place so your customers can be out of service for two full days while you wait on parts... Only @Xplornet...

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

While the first efforts at rural 'broadband' were being rolled out, the vast majority of rural people were nowhere near the service areas. Until one day that changed, along came @Xplornet, with a game changing satellite based service for remote customers.

  • thepooppack mas (@thepooppack) reported

after years of horrible reviews that continue to grow to this day, how can you still look at yourself and call your company the best rural internet service in canada @Xplornet you have consistently provided canada with the worst internet speeds of all time and continue to do so.

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

@HoneycutRa @Xplornet Lol, I feel for you on that one. By every coverage map out there, I should have perfectly good service. In reality, being just over the crest of a valley edge/hill, I'm in a hole from even a tower that's just over a mile away. I have to stand on the shop roof to send a text...
