@CanuckCalgary @jkenney Well xplornet has been buying out small providers and forcing clients onto their slow networks. They got alot of cash from the government in the recent years.

@PremierScottMoe Any one of us with the ‘Kings of Throttle’ Xplornet shouldn’t find that hard. Last evening after being dropped from another Zoom meeting, I called ‘’again.’’ As usual I’m stupid and they are smart kind of conversation went on with Xplor for an hour instead of my Zoom meeting.

@Xplornet BTW...the dealer “New Horizons Communications” that u use that was originally sent 2 fix my issue-I had 3 #’s for them. Left many messages. No 1 there answers their phones/doesn’t return calls. I looked up their FB page & their feedback is horrendous. Why use a dealer like that?

@FridayInHalifax It's only since late last year that Bell ran a fibre line past our door that we got a usable internet connection. Prior to that there was a Rural Broadband radio connection that was often not much better than dial up, or an xplornet satellite connection, unusable in bad weather.

@ayrporte @Xplornet Because for $20 more a month you get 20x the internet, it never slows down. They don’t throttle your speeds after 6pm. Their service was terrible, customer service even worse.

If you live in rural NB and are considering @Xplornet I highly recommend burning your house down instead. They are by far the WORST company to deal with for both customer service and internet connection. You’re better off with @SpaceXStarlink

So, @Xplornet tells an Ontario senior, who has been a customer for years, to risk life and limb by climbing up on an icy roof in the middle of winter to retrieve 10 year old tech or else risk a fine? Really, @Xplornet, really? Friends, please help me amplify this.

@Xplornet Short of adding another satellite, your system can’t be fixed. It is garbage. Beware potential subscribers.

@Innectic @SpaceX The internet from viasat xplornet wild blue etc geosats is poor 24/7 365 . Starlink is a great option. Even if a few bumps. Outages are minimal unless it was mounted where trees interfere.
