    @bkives What if we are currently underserved by Xplornet? All comes down to competition: if there is none, rural will continue to pay exorbitant amounts for ****** internet.

    @Xplornet Explore the sucks big....I’m supremely not pleased with the internet service... way tooooo many people on the beam in our area!!!!did a test today download speed 1.37 mbps, upload 1.5 mbps. Signed up for Star link.. guarantee 300 mbps download, minimum 130 mbps...

    @BenKlass @EvanGetson Don't tell me. If government money was to go anywhere, they should give it to Starlink. Xplornet has already demonstrated its inability to provide a decent service, but even worse-- I've heard horror stories about their abysmal customer service.

    @Woofers_MB I asked. No cost incurred to Xplornet, but they will reimburse MB Hydro if the Crown corporation incurs cost to operationalize the network to them.

    @bkives @Xplornet internet and customer service is complete trash. They advertise you'll get a certain speed and then you never get that speed and they don't care when you call them out on it. Awful internet

    @ctvwinnipeg The provincial employee that made this decision has clearly never had Xplornet internet before. It’s brutal. #TheTruth
