I feel like @Xplornet and similar rural internet companies are the modern equivalent of Blockbuster, and guys like @elonmusk with @SpaceX’s Starlink are Netflix. The former simply can’t see the train coming down the tracks. Stop ignoring your customers’ needs! 7/

@koopy @Xplornet Thats a very good point. If they can't deliver on the service they are charging you for than you shouldn't have to pay full price

@koopy @Xplornet I remember country living where I spent over 2k for a tower, radio and signal booster ....to barely watch Netflix. Phone calls were on the cell, but on wifi mode, while standing in front of the modem. Bring on Starlink!

The fact that I use all 50gb of my phone data while working from home and *supposedly* having high speed wifi is ridiculous. That’s life with service from @Xplornet (when you only live 7 mins from the city centre)

@koopy @Xplornet @elonmusk We don’t even have the option of XPlornet, we’re stuck with KOS. It cuts out randomly every day, the speeds are ridiculously slow, and there are only 4 HOUSES on the tower we use. So there’s no excuse for it. Starlink sounds great, but the $700+ upfront, not so much 😕

@Xplornet sitting here have to wait for April for you to upgrade Carrying Place Tower even though I've been waiting three years for a lousy 25 megabits service that you don't provide why should I happily wait till April when the service has been like this for three years

The tragic thing is we get used to @Xplornet’s shitty service, we sit there, and we take it. We become complacent, and we say: “Well, tonight it only took 1 min to buffer a movie.” “I think those pixels are faces.” “It only paused or froze 10 times over 2 hours.” 13/

@koopy @Xplornet This shows how bad some rural areas are, good internet is a requirement now ( education, business, entertainment heck cellphone service is non existent in places. When firemen have to use your landline because their cells don’t have service, serious community issues

@Ramaratwp @Xplornet That’s good now all you’re angry customers will be able to see it at night so when the internets not working will all just start pulling out airsoft rifles and shooting at your tower
