Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.

Telus Smart Hub bounces between Telus and Sasktel tower. Result: deactivation of hub. Xplornet is full Starlink is $ (already have at home) options?

Mamabear 🇨🇦 🏴 (@freshouttafacks) reported@ContrarianTribe I live in Ontario and Starlink is the only way I have internet. Our download speed was 0.5 with xplornet and Shaw. We couldn’t do online learning during covid. We got starlink and now 7 of us can stream, play online games and work at the same time with zero issue.
