Both suck, however, many in the area have said their Xplornet signal became better when some users switched to Starlink. They are roughly the same, but nowhere near as good as fibre optic in the cities.

NovaScotia Treasures (@NSTreasures) reported@TimHoustonNS Insane that an island is getting high speed Internet before us, off a secondary highway, in Colchester. They completely botched it here and thought xplornet was worth a damn.

Indubitably Tho (@IndubitablyTho) reported@preta_6 With Starlink, while not as fast as Telus fibre (right now), you can look forward to incremental upgrades in speed, and equipment, over time. I suggested to a client suffering with only the choice of Xplornet (crap speed + outages) switch to Starlink back in 2020. Installation couldn't have been easier and reliability of his Internet connection immediately stabilized. Everything has got better since, including being sent the latest hardware for free. Starlink's plans for continuously upgrading their satellite constellation were the deal maker for me - and should be for others suffering under Xplornet.

Mamabear 🇨🇦 🏴 (@freshouttafacks) reported@dubsndoo We bought Starlink direct(no rogers needed). Only internet service we can get in Ontario country. Shaw satellite and xplornet lte had download speeds of .5. Had that for 10 yrs…now we have 250. 7 people stream/game or work at once w zero issue. Love it.

Becca B (@becca9913) reported@xplore_ca internet has been down in our area of North Bruce Peninsula for almost 24 hours now with no resolution in sight. Any chance you guys can look into fixing this???
