Systematic Hands (@MADmarky112) reported@xplore_ca **** xplore 160$ a month for 20mb/s with a 200 g limit is bull **** most of the time it won't work at all
-
CityyGal (@LLowney49) reportedI had @xplornet, the service was terrible, usually single digit download speeds when it worked at all, so I canceled it. I am 73 years old and they expect me to climb up on my roof to retrieve a piece off the dish or they are going to charge me $500. #xplornetsucks

Peter van Oordt (@PvO385) reported@xplore_ca As an Xplore customer, I can attest that their service is the best when there are literally no other options available, save for maybe smoke signals and carrier pigeons.

G. Louise (@Shuswapgigi) reported@MrStache9 We have Starlink and we like it. We live rural so our options were limited and what we had was very poor in both cost and effectiveness. Starlink was super easy to set up and works reliably well. It costs us $156 a month which is more that xplornet but I wouldn't go back!

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@mario4thenorth Same thing as with EORN...Eastern Ontario Regional Network, tasked with getting broadband to rural eastern Ontario. 20+ years and a house bought in '98 can only access Starlink which is not part of EORN. Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.

far apart & close at heart (@lundhillbilly) reportedJust became a @SpaceXStarlink customer. Instead of the horribly slow wifi from xplornet, paying for 25 mb and actually only getting 10-15 on a good day, we now have 174+ mb. I don’t know what to say!! Get #Starlink!

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@LeoNasau @thinking_panda Yep. 36,000km is the same as the Telesat satellites that were support Xplornet sat internet. My average latency was 670ms with that gear. Useless tech. Starlink: 550km from earth Telesat: 36,000km from earth.

Nichole Neubauer (@N_Neubauer) reportedHelp! Using Arlo camera system at farm 45 min away near SK border to monitor cow feed and H2O.Sasktel installed a new tower. Telus Smart Hub bounces between Telus and Sasktel tower. Result: deactivation of hub. Xplornet is full Starlink is $ (already have at home) options?

AtomicHydra (@atomic_hydra) reported@xplore_ca @Victoriab1107 My service is so ****** at this point. I don't know weather to buy my own tower for lines or just off myself in the name of Xplornet. THIS IS CANADA how can your service be so ******* bad
