For 2 full years now, I've relied on @Xplornet Fixed Wireless for my connectivity during the pandemic. It consistently delivers high quality service, powering multiple computers and concurrent HD video streams Fixed wireless is a viable rural broadband solution #CRTC #CDNtech

Any one of us with the ‘Kings of Throttle’ Xplornet. Last evening after being dropped from another Zoom meeting, I called ‘’again.’’ As usual I’m stupid and they are smart kind of conversation went on with Xplor for an hour instead of my Zoom meeting.

@Innectic @SpaceX The internet from viasat xplornet wild blue etc geosats is poor 24/7 365 . Starlink is a great option. Even if a few bumps. Outages are minimal unless it was mounted where trees interfere.

@CanuckCalgary @jkenney Well xplornet has been buying out small providers and forcing clients onto their slow networks. They got alot of cash from the government in the recent years.

  • vickye9296 Vicky Ehlert (@vickye9296) reported

@TheenergyEng @jkenney Xplornet is awful. I had CCI before they sold out to xplornet and remember now why I quit using them in the past. My speeds are up and down like a yo-yo. If I could afford the initial starlink setup I'd switch today.

  • timsmish1 Tim (@timsmish1) reported

@Xplornet god I can’t wait to dump your ****** service. As usual it’s NOT working. Worst service and your company SHOULD be sued.

  • Geetee_123 Gonna win the cup! (@Geetee_123) reported

@kurse4 Appreciate the insight. Definitely less internet traffic here in the winter months with kids gone... so speed has been suffiecient lately. But yep, @Xplornet has been far too unreliable for far too long, and customer service dropped off the map.

  • diamondone1999 Cindy Young (@diamondone1999) reported

@Xplornet NOT good customer service for an internet company to do maintenance during the week and during the day!! #FAIL

  • IAmJamieAgain Jamie Ellen 🏳️‍⚧️ (@IAmJamieAgain) reported

@FridayInHalifax It's only since late last year that Bell ran a fibre line past our door that we got a usable internet connection. Prior to that there was a Rural Broadband radio connection that was often not much better than dial up, or an xplornet satellite connection, unusable in bad weather.
