Nick Dodd (@nickdodd) reportedI lived 10 years where nothing more than 150mb was an option (aside from starlink, or xplornet - but neither support static IP addresses which I need). I personally contacted every fiber provider in Canada about getting fiber and when the major provider finally came to my town I was literally the first person to get hooked up.
-
Lucas Bourque (@Lucas_Bourque_) reportedWhere I live we surprisingly don’t have Bell Fibre. Our only options were Eastlink, Xplornet, or Starlink. Eastlink’s lines in our area were very congested and the service was often slow and spotty, so we decided to try Starlink.
-
Mamabear 🇨🇦 🏴 (@freshouttafacks) reported@dubsndoo We bought Starlink direct(no rogers needed). Only internet service we can get in Ontario country. Shaw satellite and xplornet lte had download speeds of .5. Had that for 10 yrs…now we have 250. 7 people stream/game or work at once w zero issue. Love it.

Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reportedAlternative explanation: These people use Xplornet that never works. These people used to hitting send 9 times for everything. A product of their "world Class" Canadian Communications. This is likely the best explanation and "OpenMedia" was honest enough to show it. #CRTC

𝔣𝓇𝓪𝐧k ᖇ乇𝓐г𝕕𝐎𝐍 Ƥʰᵒᵗ𝕆𝐬 (@FrankReardon1) reported@Maqaiti I wonder if there are issues when it rains like Xplornet have all the time?
-
Andrew Single (@Beardune) reported@nathan_koop Xplornet taking over MBNetset was a big step down in quality. Manitoba has squandered the value of all the dark fiber that MB Hydro put in, and now Starlink is making it obsolete.
-
Orabidoo (@Orabidoo2) reported@1969Commando @MrStache9 Yea sadly I have XplorNet which loses satellite signal if a seagull farts in the distance.
-
RinksGuy (@RinkGuyD) reported@Xplornetsuppor1 @BlondeBigot11 Not sure if you chose Xplornet Support ironically or not... The single worst ISP ever. Could just be you're retarded.
-
CJH (@CJH39493411) reported@xplore_ca Why? I told you I’ve talked to you guys. Unless you trained a bunch of people in the last week you are asking me to waste more of my time on a company that doesn’t value its customers. For what? So YOU can feel better because you can say you tried to help? Pathetic!

Rob Anderson (@randerson137) reported@AdrienLouisSala Bruce Owen, spokesman for Mb Hydro, said all existing contractual obligations will continue to be met either by Xplornet or MHT “the fibre-optic network will continue to be owned and managed by Mb Hydro, providing safe, reliable energy to Manitobans at the lowest possible cost.
