@Xplornet Customers: Our xplornet sucks, we can't get the speeds you sell us! We can barely do anything useful and it's covid times, we have to school and work from home! xplornet: But lookit this picture, so pretty. Don't forget to pay your bill this month, our techs need better cameras.

@MobileSyrup My Starlink, while sitting in its box on my kitchen floor, provided better service than my Xplornet connection did at the same moment in time. They already can't supply the services they were offering, what makes people think this "upgrade" will work out?

  • fastjeff Fast Jeff (@fastjeff) reported

@Xplornet So xplornet launched a plan that you've been selling for a while now.... again? "deploy state-of-the-art scalable hybrid fibre wireless technology in its facilities-based network" Pointless jargon much? It's too late, people are now just waiting for #Starlink to roll out.

  • Kilz_Knight Kilz Knight (@Kilz_Knight) reported

@Xplornet Is that why I get 0.04 mbps of upload??? WTF I CAN'T EVEN UPLOAD VIDEOS

  • IainReid10 Iain Reid (@IainReid10) reported

@Xplornet Apparently you want another $100 to upgrade to this service. Seems like a money grab as you cannot provide anywhere close to 50/3 I am supposed to get right now.

  • Saittech89 Saittech (@Saittech89) reported

@CarttCa @Xplornet Why would people want this???? They can get Starlink that has faster download and uploads for cheaper. oh and great costumer service.

  • Robinongaliano Robin on Galiano Island 🐝 (@Robinongaliano) reported

@Herronisland In rural Canada, Xplornet is the satellite provider. Download is 25 MPs, (premium service) upload 2 if lucky. Generally ok, but traffic is higher during the pandemic, speed throttles down in the evening....I believe Hughes satellite is the source...good luck

  • Paulywoggsvoice Paul Adamson (@Paulywoggsvoice) reported

@Xplornet That's rich. So you actually guarantee some servicable level of speed now? Naw, you continue to take ridiculous liberty with the term "up to". In the case of anyone I know who's used your service, that typically means 3 down/.25 up. #Juststop

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Mark_Goldberg @Xplornet What is their definition of "full speed"? You get the full speed you pay for? Or Our network is full so you'll get the speed you get. I think I know which one.

  • IainReid10 Iain Reid (@IainReid10) reported

@Xplornet I contacted your customer service via Chat and was told that to move to 50/10 service I need to pay $99 for new hardware. I currently have 50/3 service. Could you confirm?
