  • jfmezei Jean-François Mezei (@jfmezei) reported

@Cory_Boehm @ltribe Xplornet is just a facade to pretend there is wireless competition in MB. It isn’t strong enough to push prices down.

  • harrbca Brad Harrison (@harrbca) reported

@Mark_Goldberg @multiplesourc13 @Xplornet Have there been any studies done that give guidance to what affordable rates are for rural wireless service? Are providers like Xplornet pricing themselves to low to provide adequate service and that is resulting in dissatisfied customers looking for alternatives such as Starlink

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Xplornet @APLenehan I refuse to accept your excuses for your miserably performing network in my area. Don't sell "up to" 25 when you can't reliably even supply 5mbps and then hide behind a policy that was part of the agreement.

  • isabh352 Isabh352 (@isabh352) reported

@outagedetect @outagedetect @Xplornet nop still outage in the Smiths Falls area. ETA 9:30am

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

Final thoughts for @Xplornet. Stop blaming COVID. I've read many stories that predate the pandemic of how truly awful your service is. The pandemic just shined an even brighter spotlight on it. You've had a year to improve. The fact you haven't indicates you don't actually care.

  • TKC_1233 Jonathan Fortuna (@TKC_1233) reported

@Xplornet 30 minutes on the phone with a moron telling me to unplug my router over and over again? No thanks! Your tech support is a useless as the internet service you provide.

  • ClayBreakerAB Dan (@ClayBreakerAB) reported

@MrStache9 I hope they are not giving more money to @xplornet!? Worst ISP on the planet!

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

14 hours and counting for this current @Xplornet outage. It bears repeating that they told me it's working fine based on how much data I use. Just rebooted the equipment again, let's see if it decided to reconnect now...

  • harrbca Brad Harrison (@harrbca) reported

@m3t4lw01f @Xplornet Wow, they just want you gone as a customer dont they? How can it be working if you can’t even connect on a regular basis to their service. Are they actively shutting you down?

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

Another useful tidbit: @Xplornet has confirmed my signal quality is high enough to get the package speed of 25/2. (Or is it 1.5? or 2.5?) The fact I've never reliably had that speed means that since signing up for service they've been "managing" the traffic to account for load..
