James Carruthers (@HydraulicDesign) reported@xplore_ca sent someone to "upgrade" my service to a new nearby tower and my service went from "fair" to "almost unusable." The contractor brushed off my immediately noticing it was worse as if I can't tell the difference between my wifi and my Net speed.

far apart & close at heart (@lundhillbilly) reportedJust became a @SpaceXStarlink customer. Instead of the horribly slow wifi from xplornet, paying for 25 mb and actually only getting 10-15 on a good day, we now have 174+ mb. I don’t know what to say!! Get #Starlink!

High Caliber (@RealHICALIBER) reported@PersonNotGroup @TheQuartering We got the same service Jeremy has (starlink) or we couldn't have done what he did. We found 52 acres WAAAAY up in the rockies, no cell coverage at all, but we needed internet of course. Xplornet was the only previous option, and not at all reliable.

Xplornet tried to pull the wool over me some years again until I threatened legal action as well as chucking the dish through there head office

Brett Petracek (@BrettRace) reported@LyttonW90219 @Martyupnorth_2 The satellite xplornet was migraine inducing. Their tower service is much better, but i don't think they offer above 50mbps yet. If they don't offer faster speeds/higher bandwidth soon I might be going to starlink.
