@cbraedley @nsgov @developns @Xplornet I'm not sure if you're familiar with the canopy system but it's a wireless system that is notoriously poor. If we were actually going to get fibre to the door I would be very happy. They ran fibre to the local Reserve but nobody else has it

@cbraedley @nsgov @developns @Xplornet Well that would be an absolutely terrible decision because their satellite service is much better than the canopy system. The canopy system deployed by Eastlink is ridiculously unreliable. No person in their right mind wants that slow system. 1.5 Mbps no thanks

It’s 12am SE Calgary. #xplornet is down again. It seems to be a ritual for every night. I have only been back with them for 2 weeks and it brings back all the memories of why I left them 3 years ago.

@StephenRLee @Xplornet We had them before and they were useless .. switched to CCI and it was amazing. Now that they taking over again it's been crappy and their customer service has been less than helpful.

@PremierScottMoe The first layer was fiber in the cities, then DSL for smaller places, then cellular for fringe areas, and ****** Barrett Xplornet got subcontracted by SaskTel for everyone else. The SaskParty never fulfilled their promise, and internet remains expen$ive in Sask. #skpoli

@Xplornet No internet in Niagara on the Lake for 4 hours. Wait time for tech support on the phone is 84 minutes. I guess this is what $130 a month gets you👎👎
