Dear #CRTC Journo's, Words (and people) are coming to me asking if I know anything about Xplornet ending their service in Nunavut (this is what they are being told). Any info? CC: @thewirereport @CarttCa

@macjbby @nationalpost I live stream in full HD with no problem. Typical speeds are around 200 - 300 Mbps down/15-25 Mbps up. I use to be stuck with Xplornet that advertised 10/1 as the best speeds for my area, yet rarely ever got more than 3 - 4 down/1 up. Starlink is on a completely different level,โ€ฆ

@xplore_ca @XploreBusiness @APLenehan Final Report: After 17 years with a #xplornet satellite dish, we cancelled our service yesterday [to billing month end] and were cut off last night, a day short of what I stated. Took three customer reps and they still didn't get it right.

@MajJensen3 @OJoelsen Why would he? In 2021 I bought a house on a paved road 6kms from a small town. Not even Xplornet was available. Cell signal very weak. If not for Starlink, I and many others would have no internet access.

@xplore_ca Welll its been great I hope you guys can do some more Xploring for your internet and find better places for the towers you put up. Currently it is OFF peak time for me, according to customer service. Still bad laggy internet. Ive had ALL your available packages and no difference.

@JennArndt Our ONLY Internet option for our new house is Xplornet, and it's HORRIBLE. So frustrating. So expensive for extremely slow Internet.

@OrenCairns Best thing I did 2 years agoโ€ฆ.and I had the business package from Xplornetโ€ฆ.and they had zero service skills!

@cbraedley @CBCNS @nsgov I literally signed up for Xplornet today. Been livi mg without internet at the house for several years, reluctant to pay for Xplornet. They have promos now that are palatable and give me something until Fibre arrives next year. Itโ€™s sad in this day and age to have these issues

@xplore_ca I'm getting latency of 1.5s with my Xplore service. Not much of a bargain.
