@ProudAFAmerican @angie_keathly Same here. I’m semi-rural 30 miles from the centre of Toronto. Crap internet via Xplornet. They have a monopoly here. Maybe 12 mg download speed on good days.

  • grizzwaldz Grizzwaldz❎ (@grizzwaldz) reported

@PowderHoundPup $144 CAD/monthly unlimited bandwidth, hardware was $700 CAD incl. Wifi Router. Plug n Play in 10min. Xplornet was $115/monthly for 10gb usage. Xplornet hardware had rental fees etc plus contract. No contract with Starlink, cancel anytime. Cost difference minimal :)

0.24 Mbps download 0.79 Mbps upload Your Internet connection is very slow. Your Internet download speed is very low. Web browsing should work, but videos could load slowly. That new thing you sent me isn't working out @Xplornet Is the $130 I send you monthly doing good for you?

  • kevinlovestech Kevin Lloyd 🇨🇦 (@kevinlovestech) reported

Was running an errand today, and saw an ad for a Xplornet. Promo on 50Mbps down. Considering it was 30Mbps a decade ago, that’s not much of an improvement. Hoping it’s their lowest tier. I get 600Mpbs at home.

  • DVTrydal17 Dustin Trydal (@DVTrydal17) reported

On day 3 with no internet. I am planning on writing a script for when I talk on the phone so I do not lash out at the Xplornet support staff. This is getting ******* ridiculous.

  • StephenWLee Stephen Lee (@StephenWLee) reported

@landon707 @elonmusk Friends down the road from me just received there's. Waiting to see how much better it is, and if my location is suitable to receive signal. If so, I may also be leaving Xplornet.

  • CousineauAlbert 🇨🇦The Hoof Trimmer🇨🇦 (@CousineauAlbert) reported

@KetchesonDale @sheepfarmbecca @Xplornet We didn't have options until about one year ago or so. The other day I asked about unlimited data from Xplornet. If I got unlimited data, they would have to slow down my internet. That was the nail in the coffin.

  • CowInverted InvertedCow (@CowInverted) reported

@Xplornet @EricssonNA I finally got the conformation from Starlink. I am now counting down the days till your garbage service can go suck lemons

  • steigercaseih Jordan (@steigercaseih) reported

@lisamariewilton @TELUS @SpaceXStarlink There are many in this area patiently waiting to ditch xplornet and telus hubs for Starlink. Telus released a bunch of BS stating its government policy that limits the cell spectrum to rural customers. In other words they want federal and provincial funding to help them along.

  • karen_c_esau Karen Campbell Esau (@karen_c_esau) reported

@Xplornet when will the internet outage north of Spruce Grove be fixed? It has been out all day
