@TSNSteve I’ve never hoped more for something to succeed. Xplornet is atrocious.
-
retroflier (@retroflya) reported
For the past few weeks I’ve been seeing upload speeds of 50-78kbps - that’s an impressive new low for @Xplornet. Got in touch with customer service and was smarmily told ‘well, your plan only guarantees UP to 1mbps upload speeds, so that’s fine.’ BRUH, 78KBPS

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet My dad is also on Xplornet, how much better a service is Starlink?

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet This may be a stupid question but are there data caps?

Spoke too soon. Speeds fell off a cliff. Why is this so hard? How is Xplornet so bad at this? And I'm over my data for this billing cycle on mobile so it's stuck at 512kbps now for another four days. Ugh.

Dr. Earl Oliver (@eaoliver) reported
@EamonCyr I got my parents off of Xplornet as fast as possible. Their service is WAY over subscribed everywhere I've ever used it.

Fast Jeff (@fastjeff) reported
@Xplornet Is this why you don't respect your customers? You treat them like cattle? Your marketing is getting as bad as your service. People aren't stupid, all your retweets to bury these doesn't work either. Avoid xplornet. #starlink #cancelxplornet

A day in the life of an @Xplornet customer, "waiting forever for simple tasks" edition. Me: Hey Google Assistant: <20 second pause> Hmm, something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds.

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet Once fully built out, Starlink is intended to serve 485,000 connections in the US at 100Mbps. That's just under 0.15% of the population. The entire network is limited to 48.5Tbps. For perspective, the company I design for supports 46Tbps through a single ethernet switch

Someone let me know today that @Xplornet would be happy to talk to me if I reached out to them. I've tried guys. Dozens of times. The last time a tech came the situation got worse not better. At this point I'm just biding my time until I can get service elsewhere.
