  @mario4thenorth Same thing as with EORN...Eastern Ontario Regional Network, tasked with getting broadband to rural eastern Ontario. 20+ years and a house bought in '98 can only access Starlink which is not part of EORN. Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.

  @xplore_ca Everyone could have got Starlink and no one needed to get free money for that. Stupid corrupt government and the company is no better.

  @CoryBMorgan I had Xplornet, worked great for a few years, then it would bog down in the evenings as everyone in the area was streaming video. I switched to Statlink, works much better. Currently here in Saskatchewan in my village there are crews going through running the main fiberoptic lines and should have it to all the residences sometime in the summer. I'll be switching to the fibre when I can. I like Starlink, but I don't think it is sustainable, when it is up to full capacity, to continuously launch 3,000 satellites a year to maintain a fleet of 15,000. They are low earth orbit. Meaning each satellite can only stay in orbit about 5-7 years, then it comes down and burns up.

  Having Videotron expand to Manitoba covers up for the government's failure in the Bell/MTS deal to maintain a fourth wireless provider in that province. Bell sold some MTS customers and spectrum to Xplornet, but Xplornet Mobile shut down last year.

  @kevinki16180099 My internet is $50.00/month, I would think yours should be similar. Anything to do with xplornet is not good, horrible company & service.

  @Starlink my remote oil and gas clients are pretty upset, considering it was a 3 hour outage. it’s first outage on record since we cut them over from xplornet tho

  lol Xplornet thinks I’m gonna wait six days for them to come fix my internet. If it’s not done by Monday they’ll never see another dime. @Bell would you like a new customer? Who wouldn’t?

  @xplore_ca internet down Minburn tower 2 days ago most of the day, yesterday most of the day and this morning still. Asking what others have … where do you post outages so we know what is happening?

  @xplore_ca Its actually IMPOSSIBLE to meet any deadlines with this quality. Moving is not an option. This is not my problem. Its pretty sad when employees admit the over-crowed panels that customers are on.
