@Addy_Bo @CBCNS @nsgov Yup, definitely rural... although not by much. Less than 10 minutes to the 102 highway. Xplornet "delivered" "highspeed" LTE service to the area...

@GSmokesweed1 I'm using my tablet while away and that limits me a lot and Xplornet (for North Quebec) sucks...

@issaibahim84 @Bell_Support StarLink is 140.00 a month. We are up over 450 mbs on a Gen2 receiver. The Mini we have on the trucks ,we are seldom under 350 mbs even doing 65 mph down the highway. We had Bell,it went down more than my ex wife, samething with Xplornet,Telus. Starlink has been the best to date.

@ContrarianTribe I live in Ontario and Starlink is the only way I have internet. Our download speed was 0.5 with xplornet and Shaw. We couldnโ€™t do online learning during covid. We got starlink and now 7 of us can stream, play online games and work at the same time with zero issue.

@xplore_ca sent someone to "upgrade" my service to a new nearby tower and my service went from "fair" to "almost unusable." The contractor brushed off my immediately noticing it was worse as if I can't tell the difference between my wifi and my Net speed.

Looks like you can't just cancel your xplornet services on you own via their website, they make you call them. Website navigation seems intentional, hard to find. Had to Google search about cancelation in order to find out it is over the phone only. Is that legal? 1/2
