Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@MajJensen3 @OJoelsen Why would he? In 2021 I bought a house on a paved road 6kms from a small town. Not even Xplornet was available. Cell signal very weak. If not for Starlink, I and many others would have no internet access.
-
Ally Bryant (@Eh_Bee_Sea) reportedFibre optic internet will be available to me very soon. The lines are in. The problem? Bell. I don't want to deal with Bell. Xplornet - now called @xplore - has been our only reliable option for rural high speed for almost 10 years. Until now...

Nichole Neubauer (@N_Neubauer) reportedHelp! Using Arlo camera system at farm 45 min away near SK border to monitor cow feed and H2O.Sasktel installed a new tower. Telus Smart Hub bounces between Telus and Sasktel tower. Result: deactivation of hub. Xplornet is full Starlink is $ (already have at home) options?

Heather, Heath,Dafink,Mom (@HeatherTownFink) reported@xplore_ca is there an outage in Central Alberta?

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@mario4thenorth Same thing as with EORN...Eastern Ontario Regional Network, tasked with getting broadband to rural eastern Ontario. 20+ years and a house bought in '98 can only access Starlink which is not part of EORN. Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.

Sean Uppy (@Suppy86) reported@_BrookesPlace @CharcoalEpitaph @nejsnave Nothing can possibly be as terrible as explornet . If I were in the country then I'd be very suspect of any internet provider. Xplornet tried to pull the wool over me some years again until I threatened legal action as well as chucking the dish through there head office
-
Lomaxcat (@VoosieVooters) reported@xplore_ca I'm getting latency of 1.5s with my Xplore service. Not much of a bargain.
-
G. Louise (@Shuswapgigi) reported@MrStache9 We have Starlink and we like it. We live rural so our options were limited and what we had was very poor in both cost and effectiveness. Starlink was super easy to set up and works reliably well. It costs us $156 a month which is more that xplornet but I wouldn't go back!
-
MightyJoeMaple (@JG98942814) reportedlol Xplornet thinks I’m gonna wait six days for them to come fix my internet. If it’s not done by Monday they’ll never see another dime. @Bell would you like a new customer? Who wouldn’t?

🇨🇦UFO / UAP First Contact🇺🇸🏞️🌎☀️🌌🖖 (@UAPFirstContact) reported@elonmusk @SpaceX Cancelling, been waiting 2 years, and now data caps and throttling? I can get that garbage from Xplornet now.
