  • loopholefarms Dean H. (@loopholefarms) reported

    @DarrenCzarnecki @XplornetES @Xplornet Have a weather station that would upload data to a weather firms servers. They ended up dumping all the stations that were on @Xplornet service. They started again when I changed providers.

  • JayBulman Jay Bulman (@JayBulman) reported

    So disappointed with @Xplornet. Like clockwork, every day between 6 - 10pm, we're worse than dialup. For an LTE service, it really does suck. They oversold the towers and throttle the service to try and maintain service. Good luck doing anything more than basic email, if ur lucky

  • the_sizz sizzle (@the_sizz) reported

    @Xplornet worse place to get internet from, bad bad customer support

  • mcgoomm Mike McGuire (@mcgoomm) reported

    Not since dial up have I had internet as poor as @Xplornet is in the County.

  • towniebastard Craig Welsh (@towniebastard) reported

    @tattuinee I find Xplornet's quality varies massively depending on where you are in town. And they're tech support is massively unhelpful. "Oh, you probably need a new router." No I don't, you ******. I need a service that works.

  • towniebastard Craig Welsh (@towniebastard) reported

    @tattuinee I pay $85 a month for Xplornet, which I can barely use because it's so slow. I can't update Apple or use it for Netflix, etc. At best I was using 5/10 gigs a month. The overage on NWTel is $4 per gig. I could go 20 gigs over and still save money.

  • towniebastard Craig Welsh (@towniebastard) reported

    So after 10 years I finally pulled the plug on our @Xplornet account, after realizing I could blow well past our NWTel account limit and the overages would be cheaper than continuing with Xplornet's deeply flawed service.

  • DVandermarel Dave V (@DVandermarel) reported

    @747_s @fordnation @Xplornet @NavdeepSBains @PierrePoilievre @CCTS_CPRST I know a handful of people on Xplornet. Their internet is shit. You're 100% correct

  • JamarTheGay JamarTheGay🌈 (@JamarTheGay) reported from Caledon East, Ontario

    Don’t ask me why I chose @Xplornet for the internet. They have the worst service ever. EVER!!!!!

  • jm_mcgrath John Michael McGrath (@jm_mcgrath) reported

    Interesting tidbit from this ROMA panel: biggest customer base for Xplornet's satellite internet service is still within the GTHA - because broadband service falls off a cliff outside of even large cities.
