Xplore Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Badenoch1 Paul Rhodes (@Badenoch1) reported

If you are an @xplornet customer it helps to have a back up system. One storm and they are out for a day (and counting.) No response from their (smirk) customer service on when service will be restored.

  • TheTechnicianhd Bars Stallone (@TheTechnicianhd) reported

@Xplornet This is the worst service out there. Best case scenario take there internet speed you pay for and divide it by 10. That’s what you will get. Example 50 mbps you will actually get 5 mbps.

  • berkypigs2008 Alan Irving (@berkypigs2008) reported

@Xplornet your service SUCKS NO wifi since THURSDAY. And your customer service does not know when it will be up and running again.#bringbackCCiwireless

  • Sheehan24J Jade (@Sheehan24J) reported

@Xplornet wondering why my parents still pay for wifi that DOESNT WORK EVER :)

  • JohnnyKasudluak Johnny ❄ ᔮᓂ ᖃᓴᓪᓗᐊᖅ (@JohnnyKasudluak) reported

I'm so fed up of Xplornet. Little cloud cover, and service becomes intermittent.

  • alyarascavitch Amanda Yarascavitch (@alyarascavitch) reported

@Xplornet I wish you had a customer outage map somewhat like hydro so we knew what was going on with our internet.

  • berkypigs2008 Alan Irving (@berkypigs2008) reported

Well @xplornet your service is terrible. Wifi has been off most of Wednesday afternoon and has again been off since Thursday afternoon and it’s still off. It’s about time u got it sorted out. #nowifiinroundhillAB #bringbackcci

  • TheBoredRoamer Mister Bored (@TheBoredRoamer) reported

Oh suprising news, @Xplornet not working again. Xplornet is the Delorean DMC-12 of internet providers.

  • DBSLarsson Dale 🇨🇦 🆎 (@DBSLarsson) reported

@TheAstroKiwi Already know of, what, 8+ StarLink dishes around here. Rapidly replacing the TELUS SmartHubs / XplorNet dishes as they are garbage when the cell towers only put out anywhere from no bars to two.

  • patgjanes Patrick Janes (@patgjanes) reported

@kristinaennis If not in range of mobile phone service, satellite is your only option. Xplornet & Starlink are expensive - both equipment & subscription fees. Both require technical skills to set up, and you'll also need a stable power source. Neither is cost-effective to set up for a few days.
