Robert Way (@LabradorIce) reported@ClimateSadie Lots of issues with XplorNet from users. We have had it before and the cost versus speed and limitations on data usage were real tough. Most people that I know who had XplorNet in communities didn't keep it.

Spenser Hamilton (@OtherSpenny) reported@JonnyBowhunter I get junk mail from Bell and Rogers in the mailbox constantly for wireless internet, they’ve both came out and did the same ‘sorry no signal’ routine. My wife has a Roger’s cellphone and I have a Bell cellphone and both get better signal than our current Xplornet internet.

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@MajJensen3 @OJoelsen Why would he? In 2021 I bought a house on a paved road 6kms from a small town. Not even Xplornet was available. Cell signal very weak. If not for Starlink, I and many others would have no internet access.

Extremely frustrating. @Colin1Best @vankayak Wireless internet from Xplornet is hopeless. Someone brings me good internet, I’ll buy it.

Nick Dodd (@nickdodd) reportedI lived 10 years where nothing more than 150mb was an option (aside from starlink, or xplornet - but neither support static IP addresses which I need). I personally contacted every fiber provider in Canada about getting fiber and when the major provider finally came to my town I was literally the first person to get hooked up.

Over 5 years of bad service and being lied to now being told Im 30 KMS from the closest tower? Who was allowed to sell me this trash. Maybe i can move closer if you pay my rent right?
