@Xplornet Likely the worst internet service provider ever, they sell you a high speed link and deliver a congested over subscribed link. Stay away from this company if you expect value for your money.

  • lidtkie J. Lidtkie (@lidtkie) reported

@Xplornet Been a customer for years, yes there are bumps sometimes as with any company. Far better than the 2 other services that cover this area. More towers would be a good improvement.

  • cad9769 COLLEEN (@cad9769) reported

@Xplornet any idea how long the outage will be ?

  • nigh1999 Savannah Nigh (@nigh1999) reported

@Xplornet any update on WIFI services near Tignish PE? i haven’t been able to work from home all day (lost a day of work), or submit school assignments (2 due at 2pm today) … and it’s still not working, worried I won’t be able to work again tomorrow.

  • patgjanes Patrick Janes (@patgjanes) reported

@kristinaennis Satellite internet may be your only option - Xplornet or Starlink. Xplornet also has less expensive/faster wireless internet service - available in a lot of semi-remote areas. For that you need to be within range of their systems which are located on mobile phone towers.

  • Mr_Jizac MrJizac (@Mr_Jizac) reported

@Xplornet you really over sell your fixed internet service. It’s literally useless. It’s up and down so much I can’t even keep track. My house is 2km away from the tower location, the service should be simple. Why are you stating the availability when it’s not?

  • patgjanes Patrick Janes (@patgjanes) reported

@kristinaennis Neither Xplornet satellite nor Starlink require mobile service. Xplornet has 2 types of rural service - 1 strictly satellite, & the other (less expensive/faster) service needs line of sight to a mobile phone tower.

  • albertaclassic Natalie McCormick (@albertaclassic) reported

@Xplornet U r charging me 140/m & hav now throttled me down, 1 can hardly wait for @SpaceXStarlink for my area. Hurry up @elonmusk connect northern AB, this is BS.

  • Badenoch1 Paul Rhodes (@Badenoch1) reported

If you are an @xplornet customer it helps to have a back up system. One storm and they are out for a day (and counting.) No response from their (smirk) customer service on when service will be restored.

  • kristinaennis Kristina Ennis (@kristinaennis) reported

@patgjanes Xplornet works without any telecoms infrastructure/cell service?
