@Xplornet yes I was chipping through Ice yesterday, Followed by using a heater to melt the remains of it, I realized that watching Ice melt is almost like watching a livestream on your "Highspeed" service except faster.

@Innectic @SpaceX The internet from viasat xplornet wild blue etc geosats is poor 24/7 365 . Starlink is a great option. Even if a few bumps. Outages are minimal unless it was mounted where trees interfere.

@FridayInHalifax It's only since late last year that Bell ran a fibre line past our door that we got a usable internet connection. Prior to that there was a Rural Broadband radio connection that was often not much better than dial up, or an xplornet satellite connection, unusable in bad weather.

@CanuckCalgary @jkenney Well xplornet has been buying out small providers and forcing clients onto their slow networks. They got alot of cash from the government in the recent years.

@TheenergyEng @jkenney Xplornet is awful. I had CCI before they sold out to xplornet and remember now why I quit using them in the past. My speeds are up and down like a yo-yo. If I could afford the initial starlink setup I'd switch today.
