High Caliber (@RealHICALIBER) reported@PersonNotGroup @TheQuartering We got the same service Jeremy has (starlink) or we couldn't have done what he did. We found 52 acres WAAAAY up in the rockies, no cell coverage at all, but we needed internet of course. Xplornet was the only previous option, and not at all reliable.

Tybernicus (@Tybernicus17) reported@BezirganMocha /2 I can't get internet other than Starlink. Even cell signal is limited to 2 bar LTE at best and often degrades to 3G. At another property in '98 promised DSL in 6 months by Bell. Today, only Xplornet satellite (which is **** and very expensive) or Starlink.

Lucas Bourque (@Lucas_Bourque_) reportedWhere I live we surprisingly don’t have Bell Fibre. Our only options were Eastlink, Xplornet, or Starlink. Eastlink’s lines in our area were very congested and the service was often slow and spotty, so we decided to try Starlink.

Both suck, however, many in the area have said their Xplornet signal became better when some users switched to Starlink. They are roughly the same, but nowhere near as good as fibre optic in the cities.
