Been trying to cancel my @Xplornet internet for two weeks and haven't had any confirmation of cancelation. Very frustrating...

@kristinaennis Neither Xplornet satellite nor Starlink require mobile service. Xplornet has 2 types of rural service - 1 strictly satellite, & the other (less expensive/faster) service needs line of sight to a mobile phone tower.

@David_Moscrop Very familiar. We had municipal-owned internet that was sold to Xplornet, and they promptly shut it down and left our community with nothing.

Looking for rural internet? Stay clear of @Xplornet. Home officed, internet kept dropping, they refused to send another tech out after the 1st guy who came out did nothing. Now they are charging us $10/month for the remainder of contract for a service they can't provide.#xplornet

@Xplornet Starlink is much better I am a former xplornet customer with an 80 dollar credit - this company is so bad and slow I left them as soon as starlink reached my area

@spacexstarlink AND @elonmusk Starlink support truly sucks. No accessible ticketing system. No responses from email support. Over 1K paid(over months) and 2 days use before breakdown. Have to fallback to @Xplornet which is more reliable. Please get better support system.

It's so insulting to pay so much for such poor service. @Xplornet wish I was also watching play off hockey on the app I pay for...

@Xplornet Worst internet service EVER. Wow. 0.37 Mbps all evening. Rural Ontario is getting a very raw deal from you.

@kristinaennis If not in range of mobile phone service, satellite is your only option. Xplornet & Starlink are expensive - both equipment & subscription fees. Both require technical skills to set up, and you'll also need a stable power source. Neither is cost-effective to set up for a few days.

@patgjanes Xplornet works without any telecoms infrastructure/cell service?
