Still no update or any news as to why #Xplornet internet is down in Alberta. My last call (20 minutes ago) the tech said they were troubleshooting all yesterday with no luck. No ETA as they cannot find the problem. Just a heads up if anyone using the platform was wondering.

  • JackieJanes8 Jik (@JackieJanes8) reported

Hey @Xplornet why does Central Alberta have no internet service today?

  • TanyaMMDash Tanya Dash (@TanyaMMDash) reported

Almost 24 hrs & @Xplornet still down, still no eta on when it will be fixed & no one in their customer service seems to know why the service is down!! Rural internet sucks for speed & half the time is down Wish I had the money to get starlink! #internetdownyet #ruralarea

  • ZNsolo101 ZNsolo101 (@ZNsolo101) reported

@Xplornet I had a problem all right In fact I have tested this for 3 weeks and have a video to go live showing how it was/ is blocked I documented it all I'll still be making this content live. I contacted support already and dont lie to me here twitch is capped to I'm a tech support rep😳

  • dchipp David Chipp-Smith (@dchipp) reported

@Xplornet Highly doubt the person mentioned is real... unless they are an employee. ****** speeds (even IF you can get a reliable connection to last more than a few days), piss poor customer service (they have no idea why internet has been down for 26 hours) and high cost. #fixyourshit

  • lexomatic Alexis Gee (@lexomatic) reported

@bluestockingetc @Xplornet @CCTS_CPRST and if they won't do it, file a human rights complaint

  • kendeer11 Kendeer11 (@kendeer11) reported

Nothing like @Xplornet being down, yet again (seems the only consistency is the inconsistent internet)….this internet is frustrating - I hate living remote because of this ****** internet problem 😒😡

  • dave_ings Dave Ings (@dave_ings) reported

@alexposadzki @mgeist @globeandmail Read it. Arguably Starlink's tech has obsoleted Xplornet, and so perhaps Xplornet is looking for an off ramp with Freedom. Main thing slowing down the obsolescence is Starlink's large order backlog (a sign of its popularity).

@dchipp @Xplornet Absolute trash service, I can’t wait to move to get rid of this ****. I’m originally from NL and if there’s internet on the ******* rock that’s actual high speed there should be reliable networking here in AB … absolutely robbing us in the north. No updates on why for me either

  • DarkElfLX Sean Totally Fungible (@DarkElfLX) reported

@bluestockingetc @EricMPaq @Xplornet of course: "Service charges may apply...." but it's probably cheaper than the $500 replacement fee.
