I used to enjoy burning Xplornet in these tweets because you kind of need a sense of humour when you're a customer of theirs. My sense of humour about this is rapidly turning into a sense of rage at their utter incompetence at doing anything other than collecting a payment.

@CHCHNews can the government get on rural internet service providers example @xplornet and get them to un-throttle their customers, kids miss their lessons because the internet is so slow. I know I'm not the only parent struggling with this problem.

Parents we just received word from a parent that they received notice that Xplornet will be down tomorrow from 8am-10pm for upgrades/maintenance. We trust students will attempt to get on but if they are not able to in the morning then classes will try to reconvene at 12:00 pm....

@Xplornet Firstly the contractor Interpc took no time to set up the system he “Andy” was more interested in leaving to get to another call rather than ensure the service was performing correctly.

@Xplornet Then putting in a service request online it took 2 days for Xplornet to respond. Once they did they advised they would send back the same useless company to investigate and you will hear in 24-48hrs.

@m3t4lw01f @Xplornet @CRTCeng Any advertised speeds would be under optimal conditions. Many factors can affect data transmission via airwaves. Your specific circumstances might result in the speeds achieved. Other situations might offer better or worse speeds. That's the nature of wireless service.

@Xplornet What’s going on with the service in Cumberland? For over a month now the service has been shitty and in and out. In a time of lockdown, how are people supposed to work from home if they can’t get a stable internet connection. When we called in Dec... 1/2
