We couldn’t do online learning during covid. We got starlink and now 7 of us can stream, play online games and work at the same time with zero issue.

High Caliber (@RealHICALIBER) reported@PersonNotGroup @TheQuartering We got the same service Jeremy has (starlink) or we couldn't have done what he did. We found 52 acres WAAAAY up in the rockies, no cell coverage at all, but we needed internet of course. Xplornet was the only previous option, and not at all reliable.

Both suck, however, many in the area have said their Xplornet signal became better when some users switched to Starlink. They are roughly the same, but nowhere near as good as fibre optic in the cities.

Ed DeBruyn (@debruyn_ed) reported@ConsumerSOS The inhabitants of Pretty River Valley, near Collingwood, Ontario, kneel before God of Elon because Bell, Rogers, Telus, & Xplornet can not provide cellular/internet service even close to what StarLink Satelite service provides. Yet 🇨🇦’s pay highest fees in world. Good travels!

Arpad Hild (@zotfot) reported@Penny36274714 @reaIDonaIdTru_ Well I had xplornet and was paying $140 for 300 GB but I switched to landline internet with telus and now I pay $70 a month with a home phone and get unlimited data and much better service now too
