  • sdpate Stephen Pate (@sdpate) reported from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

A little bit of hell at home - 4 days after Fiona #pei has poor smart phone service from @bell @telus, virtually no wifi and 75% without lights and heat. Every day has been a trial of some sort. Oh well, it can only get better. And we go to bed by 9 in the dark.

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Stratford, Prince Edward Island

@NovaScotiaRasta @bamayhew @Bell @Eastlink @Fidomobile What galls me most is that @bell wouldn't match the offers from their competition. Fido has sweetened the pot that will let me terminate my service with @Bell_Aliant. So in theory @Bell_Support and @Bell_Aliant could lose 3 lines from us.

I hate @bell but will help increase the $ they donate to #MentalHealthMatters #BellLetsTalk

  • TiltingPlanet Philip Blair (@TiltingPlanet) reported

@Bell I'm a fibre customer & pay $175 a month which is much more than I was promised when I was sold this package & the upload speed is 25% slower now. I've tried to contact bell NUMEROUS times, department that can help me only calls out, I've never been able to get them to call.

  • HeartlessWa Wahsp (@HeartlessWa) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell How long does it take to restart ? A new router won’t fix it if it’s an default setting needing to be changed , and if it’s not that it could be cables being damaged or even overheating if you have objects around it but I don’t think it’ll be that

  • Tora92790089 Tora (@Tora92790089) reported

@Bell_Support The internet and tv accounts have been canceled. EVERY tech that came here ran the other way, and one told us that a cable tech needed to fix it.

  • IATwiSTeD -=IA=-TwiSTeD (@IATwiSTeD) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell They probably keep giving you refurbished garbage. Demand a brand new one.

  • _marc_____ Marc💎 (@_marc_____) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell Had an issue with Cox, took three different contractors to come out and actually fix it. Att messed with my connection when connecting a new line for one of the neighbors.

  • OogTheLegend Christopher Garcia (@OogTheLegend) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell Does your modem like completely shut off and restart? Or does it just act like you hit the reset button? Because if it completely shuts off then it’s an electricity issue and your outlet might have a short. If not, I’m not sure that’s weird.

  • AlishaKB Alisha Cull (@AlishaKB) reported

@VirginPlus This includes @Bell too as the owner of @VirginPlus. The monopolies in Canada are on another level. I can't believe the service I regulary receive from companies I've given literal thousands of dollars to through my lifetime.

  • BlurryJS James Stephens (@BlurryJS) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell Well what I’m getting at is we both were wired into the modem even though it was essentially 2 networks. It couldn’t decide who to give the internet to causing my internet to go out and then caused modem to reset. So I reset network in windows and pushed reset button on modem

  • Lucky0slevin Alex V (@Lucky0slevin) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell You mentioned a modem not a router...bell only has modem/router combos. You either have the h2k, h3k or h4k. If you have fiber the power cycle isn't the issue. You may have a device in the house causing the problem as well. Try using only one or 2 devices at the time

  • ennis19 Ennis (@ennis19) reported

@FF_MuTeX @Bell @FF_MuTeX did they try changing you to a different port/channel at the main hub which services your house/area? Apparently that was our issue, with our service according to our tech. Something to do with our account/previous account on that port was causing the problem.
