@Bell_Support internet service has been down since 4:30 pm in L1N (Whitby). Any updates to when service will be restored??

  • tysmo Tyson Moore (@tysmo) reported

@KylesWeather @Bell_Support I used to work in the same office as the FibeTV people. And while I suppose it's possible that Bell support is right, it would be a rare occurrence. For what it's worth, satellite subscriptions are the same.

  • KylesWeather Kyle Smith (@KylesWeather) reported

@SamLoonie @Bell_Support I thought about it. Small Arduino or something to press it, BUT, I have numerous boxes, and when I look at all the other options (Shaw, Cogeco, Rogers, etc) they don't turn off. This is simply Bell doing network management and trying to turn off IPTV streams where possible.

  • aseib Andrew Seib (@aseib) reported

@Bell has told me I have to drive 6 hours to a city i haven’t been to in years to resolve this at the store where the fraud took place. This is ridiculous customer service. I’ve called the store manager of that location and he claims he has no “history” of the transaction.

  • breaume bob reaume (@breaume) reported

@Bell_Support fibe tv has stopped working from one box - help

  • KylesWeather Kyle Smith (@KylesWeather) reported

@tysmo @Bell_Support In any event, I trust this manditory Fibe shutdown timer is simply to save IPTV network resources. If they can cut off receivers and shut most them down overnight, and well into the next day, why wouldn't they? It makes sense from a network resource perspective.
