@jm_mcgrath @MikePMoffatt Calm down ... Government will not allow the takeover unless Roger’s divests (most) of Freedom mobile ... perhaps to Cogeco.

  • adamcook1234561 Adam cook (@adamcook1234561) reported

@cogeco wish you guys would have just accepted the take over from Rogers. Better products and service that way.

  • colin_lawrie Colin Lawrie (@colin_lawrie) reported

@TheDividendGuy Rogers failed on their Cogeco takeover but looks like the Shaws are willing to sell. Jim Shaw died 2 years ago and perhaps the family business motivation with him. I am a Shaw customer but don't own the stock.

  • ticatsroar Paul (@ticatsroar) reported

@JockCartier @CRTCeng To be fair there's no competition in cable as it is. Can't have two providers so they were never competing. Wireless different story and shaw may be forced to sell freedom, enter Cogeco.

@iamsalome after everyone of these offers, cogeco tv and internet get taken right down by ddos. hmmm suspicious

  • SportRage2021 🇨🇦Sports, Movies and Music for $400 🇨🇦 (@SportRage2021) reported

Rogers telecommunications/Cable has purchased Shaw telecommunications/ Cable for $26 billion. Rogers also tried to take over Videotron and Cogeco but were denied. Rogers can kiss my ***. They push woke garbage diversity on everything they touch.

  • johnmaher0 johnmaher (@johnmaher0) reported

@BatPost @nationalpost @cogeco They should sell, I have been a Cogeco customer and a Roger customer. Rogers service is far superior, Cogeco seems not to care. No customer surveys, no call backs , no concern.

In '08, @cityoftoronto sold their community fibre optic network + WIFI to Cogeco for the considerably low amount of $200m. Now they (through ConnectTO) are pledging $350k to research models to do it again. #CDNtech #CRTC #ConnectTO
