Hey @cogeco my home Internet is down. I need a technician, but when I asked to have a tech wait at my house between 8am-5pm until I got home during that window, that was not acceptable. But you’re asking me to do exactly that.

If your #Cogeco in Ontario is out, set your router to DSN 8.8.8.8 with secondary 8.8.4.4 until they fix their DNS.

@sapphire9692 @cogeco Hi Rebecca If working on laptop or computer. Please go into network settings and switch DNS from automatic to Manual and out ik address 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. This will get you back online. My kids and wife still online as I left DNS settings after Mondays issue.

Hey @cogeco @cogecohelps ! Service is out again in K0K postal code - same signs as Jan 5. And your phone number is "out of service". What gives?

@cogeco It would be nice if you posted on here and facebook that you have the same issue again today. Looks like a DNS server issue since it does not affect streaming devices or smart home devices. Cogeco definitely needs to get their act together or sell

Honestly, Cogeco has been so disappointing during this past year. It's as if they didn't realise that more people would be using the internet this year? I have a live meeting for my college in about 5 minutes and our internet has been down for an hour and all the call lines
