@cogeco all my services are out. 2nd time in a week. For $337 a month. There has to be a more reliable and less costly service. DO BETTER. 😡

@cogeco Internet down again in Ridgetown. This keeps happening more and more, Cogeco. You seriously need to step it up because it’s just frustrating being one of your customers lately.

🧵2/6 My internet service was stable for years. The problems began immediately after Cogeco’s technician installed service for my neighbour, who is also with OXIO. Since then, I have experienced constant outages—each requiring a manual modem reboot to restore connectivity.

🧵5/6 This is what passes for support when there is no meaningful competition. My only alternative locally is Bell’s DSL at 50 Mbps, compared to my current 1000 Mbps service—an unacceptable downgrade. All other ISPs in the area rely on Cogeco’s infrastructure.

The media is like calling Bell or Cogeco for billing or tech support. Call them 3 times for the same question and get 3-10 different answers. Or they transfer you to this person to transfer you back to get an answer. Your question is the same, but it takes how many people to fix?

@cogeco what a horrible company to deal with. Horrible services, horrible prices. Treat customers terribly. Stay away from this company. Oh and when you do cancel, expect unexpected bills to show up.

TD Cowen on @Cogeco: "pleased and surprised to see much lower-than-expected capex in Q3, which led to 63% Y/Y growth in FCF and increase in FY25 FCF guidance" But "not be surprised to see stock down 2-3% today owing to weak US subs, revenue trends."
