My aunt just got her Cogeco bill. They charged $0.12 late payment interest and a $250 Late Payment Administration fee. Is this REALLY what happens now when the credit card company issues you a new account and you forget to update your automatic payments?

  • jacksonpollock9 John Farrow (@jacksonpollock9) reported

@steeletalk I cut back to basic cable (Cogeco) no HD, because including it in a package with phone and internet was cheaper than phone and internet alone. I cut ties with Bell for phone because of their ridiculous prices for a landline. But all I watch on network tv is sports.

@cogeco you need to have multiple names as account holders. It makes no sense that when a bill is shared, only one person has admin rights; if this person is not available, other people need to be able to maintain service. #subscription #CustomerServiceFail #canadiantelecomms

  • MAKNSAKMARIA Maria Artuso (@MAKNSAKMARIA) reported

For two nights in a row, we've been trying to connect with @cogeco customer service. We have spent from 6:10pm to 7:00pm both Monday and Tuesday trying to connect with a live agent and then were kindly disconnected. You need to fix this! #unhappycustomer #disappointed #NOTokay

  • RKTCATS Susan Campbell (@RKTCATS) reported

@cogeco outages are noted in my area but the resolution time just keeps moving further and further out. Not helpful. How do I find out what the REAL issue is??!

“We had high hopes that this govt would make better decisions for business” roars Fred Perron, CEO of Cogeco. In a fit of petulance he was angered by Joly’s decision to uphold the CRTC devision to force telecom cos to open up their fibre optics network to competitors I am no fan of Joly’s . She’s messed up many a file but this is the right decision. Canadas telecom cos have grown fat and lazy under the current rules and the result they behave like a monopoly and result is Canadians pay higher fees than anywhere else in the world and get poorer service. These fat cats profess love of free market competition but love their protections by big govt. more. My only complaint is that Jolies decision didn’t go far enough - she should allow the big US telecoms up here. Then we’d get some real competition and hear some real whining
