@cogeco Imagine that again Cogeco has issues...2 times in 1 week. Worse worse provider ever
@cogeco Is this a Cogeco issue? Does Bell and Rogers have the same issues?
So @cogeco, 2 days ago - province wide outage for ~ 1 hr Today - same thing at the same time of day. ❓What have you done to prevent this from happening again? If it does I’m switching providers - I need reliable internet for my kids to learn from home for the next month!
@cogeco This has been going on for days now! You really should give your customers a credit for this terrible service since many of us are taking online courses and working from home.
@_chris905 @Niagara_411 If you’re talking about cogeco not having the infrastructure that is incorrect. Literally every other internet service that uses cogeco lines is fine. It’s the same issue that happened the other day. The problem is leadership at cogeco and not fixing the root of the issue.
@cogeco Since Cogeco probably doesn’t want you doing so, for those that know how, this issue can be resolved by changing your DNS server on your modem/router settings. Google’s DNS server is 184.108.40.206 or 220.127.116.11.
@AdaClif @cogeco No **** Sherlock it says outside of our network, cogeco’s internet was down a couple days ago too
@HaltonDSB @ONgov If you are having issues with Cogeco (DNS issue) today and earlier this week, a work around is to change the DNS server and backup on your home router to Google's DNS: 18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124
@alancross Mine is fine in Streetsville (Rogers). My sons teacher in Burlington (Cogeco) is down.
@JanettaHowson @cogeco Relax; this isn't a Cogeco issue. It's affecting Rogers & Bell as well, just like it did on Tuesday.
