Leanne Vanoostveen (@LeanneVanoostv1) reported@cogeco we have had pretty much no internet for the most two months. have called cogeco numerous times. Changed modems. Paid network specialistβs to come to the house and we still have no internet. Same with others on our street. Yet cogeco does nothing and offers nothing.

Sharon Laroseπ¨π¦ (@blackies1) reported@kwebber14 @cogeco My neighbour is elderly and very stressed. She has only had a cell fir a year but her family members talked her into removing her landline. I'm keeping an eye on her, checking on her regularily. This should never happen. We aren't in a war zone, a Corp. must always have back-up.

RaphaΓ«l Vignes (@RaphaelVignes) reported$CCA.NE Cogeco Communications: Paid 6.6% to own a stock priced for a (not so certain) slow death. Cogeco is a Regional North American cable: internet, TV, phone, thin MVNO. ~1.6m subs. Canada holds. Breezeline (13 secondary US states) is the problem child. Kind of a Mini-Comcast (disclaimer: owner). The familt keeps 80% of the votes via $CGO. Thesis. C$60, 5.0β5.3x EBITDA, 13x FCF, 6.6% growing dividend. FCF still C$500β550m on C$2.5bn of equity. Monte Carlo (20k): median C$88 / mean C$93, 79% of paths above spot. You get paid while waiting for US to stop getting worse. Risks. Breezeline is half of EBITDA and still losing broadband to fibre/FWA, they just wrote off C$1.2β1.8bn. Maybe sold once the operations will have improved? Net debt C$4.44bn (3.2x). Buybacks paused until ~3.0x. Priced in. Ongoing β2/β3% sales, margins stuck, capex stuck 20% of sales, WACC 8.5β9%. Discounts. dying-cable multiple + ugly US mix + leverage + dual-class shares. Not investment advice.

fore_not_four π²πΎπππΎπΆπ POPS ππππππππΉ (@altimaguy11) reported@LaciMarieKnight The CRTC controls all in Canada & creates regional monopolies , allowing companies to continue giving poor service at high prices. Bell Canada is the worst of the worst with Cogeco and Rogers close behind. They render only services they have to give while controlling what we see.
